It was always a clusterfrick and we always knew we were getting D- results with A+ players.
We kept getting lucky squeaking out wins and we all knew eventually that luck would end in a big big dramatic fashion. Which it did in 2011(2012).

Miles inherited a Ferrari and underachieved his first two seasons. Kelly inherited a used Dodge Caravan that needed a new transmission, alternator, suspension system, etc. LSU is very fortunate to have two ten win seasons after Orgeron nearly destroyed the program.

LSU fans like you be miserable, you would swear Les was worse than Hallman the way people act. He brought LSU a championship, played for a second, and won a won of games. They may not have always been pretty but he won.

What an idiotic take, Les first season he had to deal with Katrina which completely turned the season upside down and he still managed to play 11 consecutive weeks before the SEC championship.

Actually records show Saban's players fared far better under Miles, who then went on to build another championship team on his own.
