OP's post is stupid.

Injuries happen. Part of football.

Who can I blame for the injury to Adrian Peterson? It has to be someone's fault and not a freak accident.

How stupid is it to have your best player participating in full contact scrimmages right before the opener

Do you understand what the word direct even means?

The awful playcalling & predictable offense led by Les Miles ran LF7 straight into a pile of defenders over & over again. Outside of Les hitting his legs with a baseball bat, he directly caused the decline of LF7.

Trying to protect players from injury is even more stupid. Its part of the game and happens.

Why play any of the starters against Jacksonville State? Why play any of the upperclassmen in the scrimmage?

Why is LF different? Is LF more important than Beckwith or Adams?

Of course they are. His high schools coaches were the worst. They made him run sprints after practice with the rest of the players too.

Sooooo,
Along that reasoning, no one on the 2 deep should scrimmage because of injury?

Only scout team should practice?

Injuries happen dude.

I'm not a huge Les Miles fan, but this thread is simple minded and disrespectful to a man who has done more for Louisiana and LSU than you or I ever will

No Coach but wear em out Les Miles would go full contact scrimmages less than 2 weeks before the opener. All are running Thud Scrimmages. Period. You at least want to go into the year healthy as a team. That's the purpose of Thud practices player safety yet you still get the reps you are looking for.

LSU should not praxtice any starter prior to the bowl game. Cancel all of the practices I fear an injury.

Also, during the game, sit every potential starter for next year so they do not get hurt.

These are the same assholes that would shite on lf if he had taken his junior year off to keep from getting hurt.

Miles is to blame for most of what lsu is going through, but lf getting injured isnt one of them.

"Okay everybody,.... everyone is going to practice and give me your all except Leonard. He gets to sit because he's more important than the guys who block for him. He's more important than the Defense. He's more important than the tight end group."

Is that how Miles should've handled it?

Come-on dude. Blame Miles for whatever you want, but injury to a tailback? That's part of the game for a premier tailback.
