Les is a damn good football coach, he just was a little too stubborn for his own good here.
Not a lot of coaches stick around a place as long as he did here. It was a mutual parting for good for both parties. LSU just needed new blood.
Les is still an LSU legend and all of the great Les Miles moments will live on in college football history with him wearing the purple and gold.
His Kansas team is already competing for him, its fun to see

Miles never beat Texas while at Okie Light. In fact, he’s known for blowing huge leads and losing to Mack Brown’s teams because he took his foot off the gas and tried to run out the clock. Sound familiar?
Miles did bring us the 2007 NC, but he absolutely lucked into that game. I’m just sorry that he didn’t change his ways and make better use of the enormous talent that he had at his disposal in Baton Rouge. We could’ve been a dynasty instead of Bama.
