In the Denver Post today, Miles (Mad Hatter) is listed as a candidate to replace Dan Hawkins. Talks about how Miles loves Boulder and he was the Offensive Line Coach under McCartney when U of C won the National Champsionship...just sayin

McCartney owes Les for taking in TC.

I doubt it. Though I wouldn't blame Les if he did take another job.
And i havent been a Les fan in a while.

somehow, someway, Miles will get the last laugh at LSU fans.
I'm confident in that, and unfortunately I'm not looking forward to the time period where we will all - as LSU fans - suffer in the end.

If Miles did decide to bolt for another job, would LSU still owe him that ridiculous buyout sum?

A realtor friend of mine who is big in the BR area called to tell me that the Miles house is going to be listed next for sale next month. Fact.

Could be an interesting move for him. A new conference where he only has to worry about USC every year and Oregon occationally.

Les is one of the few humans in existence that isn't affected by high altitudes.

But, an intriguing choice would be a current SEC head coach.
Les Miles of LSU probably could be lured to CU. Miles and LSU have just about had enough of each other, and the coach of the 2007 BCS champions has said to friends that his favorite place to live and coach was Boulder, where he served as offensive line coach under McCartney from 1982-86. Would the "Mad Hatter," so named because of his dicey play-calling and odd nature, be the first choice as Les "Miles High"?

We wish, I'll help pack. Poor Boulder... They can do much better recruiting a high school coach.
