Not saying that we SHOULD worry. But players CAN in fact overlook preparation over what they consider to be lesser opponents, Tenn and Dooley have a lot to gain after lasts year's bullshite, and it seems just downright AWKWARD to have so much talk about a MNC berth matchup with Bama.

I know, I know...I should enjoy the ride.

Just to keep things straight...

Everyone's pretty much NOT worried about Tennessee next week after passing road tests at MSU and WVU?

1st of all NEVER call me an a-hole.

I'm sorry a-hole, I'll never do it again.

Um, it's definitely okay when we only give up 3 TD's to a high powered throwing offense and score 40+ ourselves.

Let me say that again...it's ALWAYS OKAY TO GIVE UP 400 yards passing when we force 4 turnovers, only give up 20 points, and score damn-near 50 ourselves.

It's ALWAYS okay. Okay? Cool.

Did I say this?????

Pretty much...I think your words were "just leave"? But hey it's all good.

I am not griping about a great win, But you need to just leave if you feel this way. SEE YA.

Oh, I'm not going anywhere. And I will not back down that petty gripes over the stupidest things are sickening. You know it's never enough. Show a little pride in your team a-hole.

How about being happy with Chavis for holding down the #2 scoring offense in the nation in their opening game? How about being happy with the players he's recruited that made so many plays for us last night?

How about being happy that RR was so nails early on on all those 3rd down conversions? Or that Lee had the poise on the field, in front of cameras, not to make that pouty WTF face (that JJ is so good at) after RR dropped the sure TD?

So I guess I'm not a REAL tiger if I'm not mad about the game last night....

So let me get this straight...

I should be upset at TM7 for running his mouth, Chavis for sucking at defensive scheme, and RR for dropping that pass?

Am I missing anything else? Should we be mad at Les for not reinstating JJ since Lee could not convert that 3rd down in the opening drive of the 3rd quarter?

You guys make me sick. Really?!? Gritching about the pettiest things after a win against a ranked team, on the road, in a hostile environment, where national media is doing their very best to will an upset...

We won. Be happy. Move on. Worry about Kentucky or something. Or kill yourself.

Coaching
The Aggies have played in Cowboys Stadium twice in the past two seasons — two losses to Arkansas — while LSU will play its first game there. LSU’s Les Miles owns a national title and more big-game experience than relative college newcomer Mike Sherman. It boils down to this, however: The Aggies are more fired up to play in the Cotton Bowl than the Tigers.

This makes no sense. So as I understand, A&M has the COACHING edge because:

1. They've played (AND LOST TO) Arky at Jerry World twice

2. Miles owns a national title and has more big-game experience than Sherman

3. The Aggies are more fired up

Nice.

I like the way this is playing out!

Define this? Rumors and accusations? I'll feel a lot better AFTER we beat Bama...and UGA beats Auburn.

If not, then there's nothing to like.

Ah...At least they asked.

Gameplan vs Bama

Question is, if we are able to pressure the QB, and control the LOS is it enough to win the game?

I don't know which was worse, this, or watching a DLman get into the backfield and chase Cam, only to watch him scramble outside for a 30 yard gain.

FIFY
As a HC, if you can't coach in-game and make half-time adjustments, find AC's who can and let them do their thing.
because he left LSU for the NFL, quit, and came back to CFB at a rival SEC West school.
yyyyyyyyyyyyup.

That HB pass was bad arse though...
So so so you're saying there's a chance?
What will you post when we're 7-2 and ranked 19th?

And what will you post when we're 8-3???

In all seriousness, it's just not cool to offer ZERO logical explanation for all the decisions he does, and does not make. And I am frickING SICK of watching a team that has no ability to adjust at half-time.
Well hell ya he will!!! You're telling me YOU wouldnt laugh your arse all the way to the bank with 4 Million in your pocket and a new job offer???
Wrong. Talk to me after the Bama game. No seriously, save this post, bump the thread or whatever, and open this discussion back up after the Bama game.

I would love nothing more than to see LSU run the table and have a "magical" goddamn season that ends in an SEC Championship and a BCS Bowl. But it's not gonna happen dude. One of the two teams ahead of us in the SEC West is going to win the SEC and a MNCG birth.

We will not beat Bama. And we may quite possibly lose to Ole Piss and/or Ar-Kansas. We simply do NOT have what it takes to consistently win big games.

Pass blocking is piss poor, passing and/or catching is not a priority to the coaches on this team, and our defense fricking shite the bed in their first TRUE test of the season. More nauseating than the yards we gave up on the ground, was how many goddamn tackles we missed.

Be honest with yourself dude. We were exposed...and rightfully so.
It would be tops...for exactly one season.

Minn. would kill to have a coach like Les

Who in the frick would want to hire Les after this season???

How in God's name???

As bad as we were physically pushed around, beaten, and out-gained on the ground, how in the HELL we're we still in that game with 6 min to go in the fourth???

I don't know if that makes me feel better, or worse...
You mean the game most EVERYONE on here had circled as a loss at the beginning of the season?
Nnnnnnnnnope. And there-in lies the problem.

So deep that we got man-handled by Auburn's O-Line...
Right. And notice he was taken out immediately following the muff.
