As I said before, if Jennings starts LSU better win the NC or Miles seat will be burning.

He wants to be the only coach to ever play his 2nd best quarterback every year and still keep a job for 15+ years

You are going to be upset when you see Jennings start.

Yes I will. I predict AJ starts, he does marginally better than last year and keeps the starting job long enough to lose two games.

Here's the comments:
"Miles said Monday on ESPN’s “College Football Live” that Jennings’ arrest will have a “positive” end.

“We anticipate there will be a very positive outcome there with Anthony Jennings, and we expect there to be competition (at QB),” he said."

Jennings will start every mother fricking game!

People act as if Miles wants to lose.

Harris has to win this job, nobody is going to give it to him.

You must have the cash to buy him out under your mattress?

Then enough to hire a new coach? Get real...

hopefully, the positive outcome is:
1) jennings learns to read defenses
2) jennings looks at a second, maybe third receiver
3) jennings doesn't come to the line having already decided what he's going to do
4) jennings improves his throwing motion
5) we all wake up and smell the coffee

we'll be lucky if jennings looks at a second receiver on a third of his passing plays.

Regarding Jennings arrest for trying to get his things back after they were stolen, SO WHAT??

is there any evidence supporting this?... that AJ was in fact taking his own stuff back... besides the statements of AJ and the three guys that went with him ofc... i'm not saying that such evidence doesn't exist, but i haven't seen it.

as a business, LSU football makes a net profit (donations not included) of about $40 million annually. Leslie's guaranteed money will drop to $12.9 million the day after the season ends, and that's spread out over monthly payments between now and january of 2020... i'm guessing we're going to go for a diamond in the rough/safe bet kinda hire like florida did with mcelwain, instead of paying a lot of money for a homerun hire like michigan did with harbaugh, so probably in the $2.5 -$3 million dollar/year range.... which is very doable with an annual budget of $40+ million.

Even though he wore LSU clothes and led other players into terrible situations? Wow

all of the football players wear the same clothes... every month, the athletic department gives each player a set of shorts, shirts, sweatpants and a pullover that they must wear at all times while they're on campus.... so yeah, they were all wearing LSU gear, and i'm sure that was the original point of mentioning what AJ and Co. were wearing. i live across the street from campus, the football players aren't hard to spot.

and if you don't think that was a terrible situation, then you're an idiot... now, this is a far fetched scenario, but possible nonetheless,... let's say AJ and Co. go to get his stuff back, and the guy they're getting it back from has a gun, gets nervous because there's four athletes trying to strong arm him and the guy just starts shooting, and injures or god forbid kills one or all of them... now, for the second time, i admit this is a far fetched scenario, but,... why take any chances? or what if the guy they were getting the stuff back from gets confrontational, starts calling them names, and AJ and Co. beats the guy to a bloody pulp, or even kills him? can you imagine what a black eye either of these scenarios would be for the program? that's the kind of incident that could sink recruiting for years... keep in mind that with out of state recruiting, the 17 year olds (which makes up the majority of recruits) need their parents permission to sign with an out of state team.

Obviously AJ made them do it. They didn't have any choice. He said he'd beat them up if they didn't put on LSU gear and let him lead them into a criminal situation.

they never would have been in that awful situation if it weren't for AJ,... don't get me wrong, it takes stupid to follow stupid... but the bottom line is, AJ is the main character in this drama.

1/9 comes to mind all over again. Let's hope our hard-headed coach learned his lesson.

Maybe it's positive because now Harris was able to gain the trust of the players and coaches. Also gained much experience and confidence then proceed to kick some sec butt this year. It's possible you're looking at it totally wrong?

maybe, but not likely... also, this situation produces more long term bad than short term good.

Which is used to support the approximately $25 million in expenses from non-revenue sports, in addition to approximately $7.25 million which is given back to the academic side of the university... this past year, the AD donated an addition 3 million to the academic side as well.

LSU is not going to willingly give itself the distinction of being the only SEC West team to pay its head coach less than $4 million a year.
