Your anti-Miles hysteria is bordering on the insane.
And your pro-Miles dik-riding crossed the threshold of sanity way, way back.
it's not really dik-riding as you put it... the majority of Leslie supporters see Leslie as the quintessential 'Everyman' who would be their friend and drink beer with them on fishing trips. this is a big reason why they can't bring themselves to see Leslie's faults, because they see themselves in Leslie... they also can't see his fault because they don't know jack shite about football.

Hard to understand how nobody believes that both of the qb's will continue to improve and get better in a phases. They aren't 12 yr pros. These young guys do develop

Its because with other qbs, they show flashes of taking the next step or having the ability to be a big time qb. Mett turned the corner against Bama his junior year. Harris showed extreme flashes of arm talent and the ability to lead an offense as a true freshman. Jennings, on the other hand, had all of the bowl prep from his freshman year and an entire season of starting and showed zero flashes. He was downright awful and the numbers show he was the worst qb in the conference and one of the bottom 5 in the entire country.

Amusing you say that when you know full well that Miles put Jennings on the bench in the 2nd SEC game of the yr. last season and went to a Tr. Fr. How anyone can get "obsession with Jennings" out of that action is beyond me.

The only way BH would have supplanted AJ after that game was if he played lights out and carried us to victory.....two things that weren't likely to happen given the situation BH was facing.

"Mett turned the corner his junior year against Alabama"
So late into his junior year, right?
So late into his junior year, right?

he played great in his other stops before LSU. His Bama game showed he could be special. AJ showed nothing in a full year of starts. He has been getting the majority of the first team reps from December before the bowl game throughout the entire sophomore year. The other big difference is that he has talent. Nothing on Jennings shows talent. Mett has a cannon and plays on Sundays. Jennings better make sure to get a good degree because I am willing to make a bet he never plays on Sundays

Harris had already "supplanted AJ" based on the fact that the kid started the 2nd SEC game of the yr. How that shows some kinda Miles "obsession with Jennings" is laughable.
Per Harris, he was had an injury at Aub. that limited him for the rest of the season. So, we don't know what Harris would have had to do to retain his starter position he had earned for Auburn.

The first felony is just strike one. Hell he has a lot of criminal activity left before miles dismisses him from the team. He hasn't even hit a woman yet and no team vote yet. Rest assured, he will start. Our coach doesn't discipline his players.

And I'm sure that you consider yourself as the zenith of football knowledge. Your post history says otherwise.

Right but they all don't have to wear LSU shite all the time

And you dont think that had anything to do with the fact that AJ had looked like hammmered shite up to that point?

you have quickly supplanted yourself as the biggest dumbshit on this board.....which is quite a fricking feat to be honest.
kudos

Why not? It's free.
It shows their pride in LSU.
Kind of like you wear your Taylor Swift stuff all the time.

it would be a lot easier to believe that they would develop if Leslie weren't at the helm.. the guy has been at LSU for ten years and has yet to recruit and develop a quarterback... now to everyone that wants to throw matt flynn and zach mettenberger in my face, take note of the word RECRUIT before you post your dumb arse reply.

And they do wear it, but the comment that started the whole exchange was,
quote:.
every month, the athletic department gives each player a set of shorts, shirts, sweatpants and a pullover that they must wear at all times while they're on campus
(Bolded segment added for emphasis.)

So you acknowledge that Miles has DEVELOPED qbs in his time here? Good. Because he did actually recruit Mettenberger to LSU. Just because it was out of JUCO and not high school does not mean he wasn't recruited by Miles..

How do you suppose Mettenberger came to be at LSU?
