....but for that clock management hickup at the end of that Auburn game Les Miles might still be the coach at LSU. That was the straw that broke the camel's back IMO.

I wish him luck at Kansas.

He may struggle this year with the team he inherited but he will be winning more than 2 or 3 games a year very soon.

true...but the games after we struggled

More myth to convince people that losing to Alabama wasn’t the real reason he was fired.

Record after Alabama:

2012: 3-0
2013: 2-0 (beat #9 A&M)
2014: 1-1
2015: 1-2

The haters have basically tried to spin three games (14 Ark, 15 Ark and OM) as the reason for his downfall, when everyone knows that failing to win the West since 2011 was the real failure he couldn’t overcome.

Of course O has been embarrassingly worse against that team, so they waive the look how much better we are against Arkansas and OM flag to show some sort of improvement.

Never mind that both of those teams went from highly competitive in 14-15 to complete dumpster fires in 16-18.

There is a reason Miles wasn’t allowed to get to those games and their terrible run defenses in 16.

That's right. Just a "mere" 12 years ago. Almost like it happened yesterday.

Just a "mere" 12 years ago, Coach o was finishing up his horrendous 3 year 10 win 25 loss career at Ole Miss. Almost like it happened yesterday.

Right?

By the way, that Kasas program has gone 31-102 in the 11 years since that 12 win Orange Bowl season.

Precisely. Literally no other reason to fire him after 4 games, then frick around all season with only two real coaching options on the white board, if not to simply prevent him from having the ability to bounce back and finish about the way Orgeron eventually did and end up with the patented 9-3 type record and be unable to work up the will to fire him like the season before.

Needed to get it done before the inevitable win streak happened in the back half of that season.

You are right. He should have been fired after the first game. When we all knew it was chicken shite and not salad

He's the only person I've ever seen that clapped the way he did.

He kept digging in his ears constantly too ,for some reason.

He's just a strange dude. I think the media said something like, he couldn't remember key players names. He said that the pookie punishment was not levied by him, but he agreed with it, which makes since to me but not to media members.

Besides all that, i liked him alot. The problem is, someone has to come along with that nostalgia killing monster of a dumb assery comment that somehow Nick Saban feared Les.

Has any coach ever "feared" another.. I mean, if so, this most likely wasn't the time it happened.

Isn't it funny that some things that happened over a decade ago are considered relevant in some cases, such as Miles taking over a Kansas program that hasn't had a winning record since the 2008 season, yet because Kansas won 12 games and went to the Orange Bowl the previous year, Kansas shouldn't be looked upon as the dumpster fire that they've been since 2009.

Then if Orgeron's record at Ole Miss, which was in the same time frame, is mentioned, it's off limits because it's considered ancient history.
