I don't care who flames me because you are wrong!

Les Miles and staff are you freaking kidding me get your heads out of your asses!!! After watching the Ohio St game to watch the 3rd string QB come in and play like a Heisman Trophy candidate in a championship game after one week of taking the 1st string snaps compared to what you have done this year, it is almost criminal. And frankly you should be embarrassed.

Les, I am a supporter of you. I am an alumni and fan that doesn't want you to be fired. I am one of the supporters that feels you are great for LSU and the LSU football program. But after watching what Urban Meyer has done this year after having to replace not one but two Heisman trophy candidates in ONE season. Les you can't even develop a competent starter for ONE frickING GAME.

Les if you don't sit back and try and figure out what you are doing wrong than you are compounding your mistakes. LSU recruits and gets the right talent at LSU. LSU can have the same success at QB as Ohio St or Bama or any other school that is having success at QB. After watching this year I am more certain that Mett's success had more to do with his talent and the talents of OBJ, Juice and Hill than it did with coaching up Mett. Mett made you look better, not the other way around. Please Les use this off season to figure out what you need to do to coach up and play your QB's in a system that utilizes their talents. Don't waste their talents forcing them to adapt to your thoughts of a successful QB, use their talents to help you win football games. Let the playmakers play if you use a governor to throttle back their talents, all you are doing is forcing a Ferrari to run on 4 cylinders instead of 8 . You are hurting your program with your mindset, you are good but you could be great if you just learn how to adapt!

Let the flaming begin.

Just give it a year. if we don't have a QB next year lets run him out of town.

I think Harris will be ready, Jennings just sucks

People can talk about system all they want, but all three of the QBs at OSU are better than Jennigns just in every way.

Upvote. I don't care what anybody says. The heat should be on Les next season. The offense, and the losses because of it, was unacceptable.

But are they all better than what we have on the roster right now? If you say yes, than we have a big problem. If the answer is yes than we can't recruit competent and competitive QB's at LSU under Miles. Miles has been at LSU for 10 years Meyer at OSU for 3 years and after just 3 years he has 3 QB's on the roster that are better than every QB we have at LSU. If that is the case than got news for everyone, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

Let's pretend this is true for a minute.

Why is it acceptable for ohio st, or any team, to have 3 quarterbacks that are better than any quarterback on lsu's roster?

I am also an alumni supporter of Miles and agree with you 100%. If this continues and we lost to Bama next two years I am ready for a change too. As Les Will have become Charlie Mac 2, and we will never win any more championships.

They have 3 qbs better than our starter?

I doubt any of them would look good in our offense

Les miles is Big Ten Coach in the SEC ... if he left and went to Michigan he would win better then here at LSU. Why ?? Like I said in the beginning he's Big10 all the way.

So Les and UM would be a hell of a match to be honest.

Was this supposed to be an open letter to Les? Because if so, he's currently too busy doing things his way to listen.

You definitely might be king of the beating a dead horse threads.

It's also hilarious that many of you think lsu coaches want bad qb play.

What grinds my gears?

Alabama had a guy recruited as an "athlete" that Saban put at 80th string running back because he didn't think that guy was capable of playing QB. That guy just set the school record for passing yards in a season (3,250 and counting)

Teams were competing with turn an ath/rb into a school record passer. Les Miles turns 4 star QBs into basket cases.

Exactly.

I'm tired of always waiting until 'next year' for things to kick into gear.

This has been happening year after year. It gets real old, real fast.

LSU is a top tier football program year in and year out. Yet for whatever reason we can not develop a quarterback. This literally makes no sense to me. We have what looks like all the money in the world, and we still can't do it. I hate the feeling in my gut when we fall behind in games, because I know chances are, barring a miracle, there's a real threat we will lose. Because we can't pass.

You have all these other schools with nowhere near the talent we bring in and can still field a decent quarter back. Then of course when ours fail to develop, it's back to the old adage "It's wasn't going to be our year anyway, this was to be expected."

(Do you know how embarrassing that is?)

Except now that's becoming every year. I'm sorry, but what I do expect is LSU to compete for championships almost every year. That 'down year' stuff annoys me when you have teams like Bama going virtually undefeated each year. Even including the "down" ones.

Last time I checked, we're the only school (outside of a few others) that can go toe to toe with them. So sorry, if Bama can consistently perform at a high level, so can we.

And because of that I will not be lowering my expectations. We have championship caliber talent, top notch facilities, etc. In addition to some of the highest paid coaching staff in the nation.

We have the seventh highest paid coach in CFB. I expect seventh highest paid results. This is borderline unacceptable.
