They are similar in that they both have very strong programs that don't always win the big games. But nobody always wins the big games. That's why they are big games, because the other team/program is good too.

Agreed Genuine, and you're right, I know it. I still have trouble processing it I suppose.

Both can't seem to win when it matters in the postseason
You don't think winning the regional this yr. qualifies for winning when it "matters"? You don't think winning the SR qualifies for winning when it "matters"? I'm pretty sure if LSU hadn't won the needed games in the postseason to reach the CWS, you would have been on here pissing bout LSU not winning when it matter to reach the CWS.

It's sucks when you're right and hated at the same time.
You aren't "right" and you are not "hated". We are simply amused that you feel winning a regional and a SR doesn't matter. Talk bout being sports mentally challenged.

The LSU fanbase has become jaded, cynical and entitled.
This. LSU fans suck. LSU has had immense success in football and baseball but you wouldn't know it from listening to the fans who think coaching is easy and no program should be able to compete with LSU. College sports should be fun.

I completely agree with your post. However the liberal rantards seem to be in love with both. Im ready to see both be replaced. Tired of rewarding mediocracy and being happy with good records. Its all about National Championships.
you, idiot.

so correct winning is fine but championships look better in the trophy case.

I was waiting on the "but but Curly Hallman" post

Both are excellent recruiters and get great players and then underachieve.

No need to go there, but yeah, the younger fan base is pretty pathetic overall.
However, game 1 was pretty pathetic performance and I do not think being critical of PM here is out of line. The guy just seems too tight to me and it reflects in his teams in recent post seasons (Supers & Omaha).
That was an implosion yesterday and uncharacteristic of how they played all year until now, when it really matters.

Based on the last 3 years Paul is having much more success than Les. Football hasn't made a BCS bowl game since 1/9. LSU baseball has made the equivalent of a BCS bowl game twice in the past three years. Football hasn't won the SEC since 2011. Baseball has either won the SEC tournament or the regular season title for the past 3 years I think more.
Paul has done much more than Les recently. Miles seat is actually warm especially if he puts together another 8 or 9 win season. Paul seat is ice cold.

They both have getting a pass for a while.

They have to please an incredibly fickle and irrational fanbase?

The double standard is blatant.

FYI you just described almost every college football fanbase

there is no double standard, Paul has had much more success than Les in the last 5 seasons. Paul sometimes screws up in game not many people disagree with that, but Paul is far from being on the hot seat. I would say his seat is ice cold, and it would take 2 seasons for it to get hot. Miles seat is warm, and if we have another 8 win season his job may be at risk.

Is winning 100% of your postseason games ithe standard?

You, goldennugget and dukkev are all strikingly similar. You all suck dick as posters.

I love the dumb pieces of shite that come crawling out of the wood work after a loss. Goes for all sports. God, we have some dumbshit fans.
