Stubborn-arse moron. We didn't lose possession. I guess you pull an all American type back for a small balls security issue, but continuing to play inept players in other positions makes sense. I would've pulled Jordan Jefferson about 27 times in his career. How the hell does welter, Loston, Martin still have a job?

It does suck but then again they know what happens if you fumble the ball. Hold on to it and no problem.

Mett threw three picks... didn't see him sit.

How is that unbelievable? He sits all the other backs when they fumble. Magee ran the ball hard and so did Hilliard, we just didn't run it enough. That's his rule and he stuck to it.

If that is the case Mett should have never seen the second quarter! Unless interceptions don't count?

Why is that so shocking?

Bc he cares more about punishing kids for making a mistake than winning the game. You can punish some one for fumbling with Sprints during practice

So he punished Hill because of his fumble? Mett was off on his passes so running at the depleted Ole Miss defense would have worn them down and kept the ball away from their offense.

No, he punished the LSU team by sitting Hill on the bench. Les put the SEC's leading rusher on the bench and took our best weapon away.

He's done the same with other RB's during his tenure at LSU. It's a shame he didn't do the same with JJ.

why didn't he bench Mettenberger after he fumbled against Fla

Why didn't he bench Mettenberger after he threw 3 picks? At least just to settle him down...

It's a dumb fricking move since it was Hill who fumbled. You wouldn't bench AP if he fumbled.

I would... not really. I agree it's stupid. What if all the backs fumble once, you leave the game plan behind and run 5 wide the rest of the game? It's so freakin stupid.

Well, "Stupid on Saturdays" got a contract extension from "Stupid is as stupid does" that dwells in the LSU Athletic Administration Building. Gonna have a big buy out to send Dumbeaux Mac 2.0 off and packing.

yea because he fumbled==---so teach him alesson..obviously he might fumble again cuz hes fumble prone ight? atleast this game he must be cuz he did it once right? so thats better to not take the risk of the fumble prone hill and bench him since we dont need his talent--wont make up for allhis fumbles .. and we sure dont want to give him a chance to redeem himself do we!!??? fricking idiot

and wtf does punish mean? did hill violate a rule? you dont think hill hated fumbling? hes just as upset//sitting him does absolutely fricking nothing you shite stain of a retard coach.. oh yea. hill got lazy and fumbled---we cant risk thqat again---its more of a risk to play him and he fumbles than have him help us--if hes fumble prone you already know it--obviously hes not. if anything i guarantee hed be even less likely to fumble again..how bout a pat on the back and say dont worry about it --go get em? lets bench adrian peterson if he fumbles....not sya9ng hill is him but its the same fricking dumb idea

Les has to pick another game to make an example out of players. Sitting Hill had to have effected the offense or maybe the team mentally. This idiotic shite Miles pulls hurts his team and he doesn't get it. Hill has one freaking fumble this year and he gets benched, BS!

Les is a good coach but benching your best back in a tight game might have cost us the game. It is time to take Les to the woodshed
IMHO.

Im sorry. How do you bench your best back for a single fumble in over 200+ carries? Thats pure stupidity. He is head and shoulders better than Hilliard and the others.

You can see the production fall off in every game when Miles pulls him for a qtr or more. Hilliard, Blue, & Mcgee (spelling) come in and struggle to get yardage. You know... He is saving Hill for the end of the game... Whatever. How about we run it down their throat with Hill the whole game. Let Hill rush for 150-200yds a game. Then rotate the other backs in if needed. I stress IF.

Being stupid is another. I mean what kind of message are you sending to your STAR RB???? It very well cost LSU a win.

I can see sitting him out a play or two at most. It was his 1st fumble of his career, and it is absolutely ridiculous to take him out the game for an extended period of time.

We ran a lot of plays with him and Landry on the bench with a 1 WR set. Completely stupid

I have a problem with sitting one of the best backs in the nation for the last year we have him
