I made a joke. You Nancy boys on here who get their panties all twisted up when Les is mentioned in a comment really need to get some thicker skin. I'm a die hard LSU fan, and I'm not a Les Miles hater, but judging from the production with the talent we have, I have every right to express my concerns.

At first glance, I thought, "recruiting schmuiting". But I looked at the numbers. Looks like for some teams, recruiting does equate to championships. And for others, it does not.

So what does this show us? For some coaches, having a top 5 recruiting year does mean championships. For others, it does not. Some coaches can win with 3 and 4 star players, if they are x's and o's guys.

I hope you sunshine pumpers and this data are right, and we hoist a trophy in 2016, but celebrating a #1 recruiting class is, in my opinion, only 25% of the way there. I really don't give a shite about coddling spoiled prima dona high schoolers, until they chalk a few (to be read 12 or 13) W's in the season. Until then, that head football coach's seat should stay warm.

The 2016 recruiting class will have almost no impact on the 2016 season. The reason some of us are pumping sunshine is because the 2013-15 recruiting classes are still on campus, and have matured in their physical development and understanding of the game.

That hasn't been the case since 2012.

Our entire O line was legit, best WR group in the country, best RB in the country, Brandon Harris had the tools to be serviceable last year, best DB's, top LB, great DL. Special teams wasn't up to par. The talent is always there, but I feel its not being utilized. We should have been a 1 or 2 loss team IMO. I still have faith in Ole Les, but if we crap the bed next season, my opinion will change.
