if we don't win 8 games. I'm always going to be the last one to bash the guy, because his recruiting kind of offsets his game blunders, but he has to win the West this, or next year. If not, hes gone.

i agree. but if we don't beat bama and florida the offseason is going to suck. if we go 11-2 with those 2 losses being bama and florida the whole offseason will be "Les can't win the big games". or "cant beat the good teams".

LSU wins 7 games.

8 games = Crowton be gone.

9 games = safe, but still warm seat.

LSU goes 7-6 and he's gone. Joe the AD didn't pick Miles anyway. Who knows what that Duke Bluedevil asshat thinks when it comes to football anyway? BUT, he'd love to be the next Mark Emmert/Skipper and find HIS guy and show LSU fans that one man can change the landscape. Lesticles has less protection than he did in his first 4 years. AD's love winning fans over by firing a guy and then bringing in another guy and improving right away.

He loses to Alabama, Florida, and Ole Miss in the same season.

I'd agree.

Another way of putting it is that Les has to beat one of the two Alabama or Florida, has to beat one of the two Ole Miss or Auburn, and not lose any other SEC-W games, and no more than one non-SEC game (say WVU).

In other words a 9-3 season with quality wins and quality losses. The bowl game doesn't matter.

Anything less than that and Les should be shown the door.

Another sub-par regular season like the last two is reason to give Les the boot.

Exactly my point. He should be slinging hash at a Waffle House, not coaching LSU this season. The time left on his contract is what saved his bacon.

4 losses = a gone pecan

There is no excitement about this season like in the past. We know what's coming and are bracing for the medocre season.

Deja vu, Mike Archer and Gerry D.

It will be tough year to stomach the losses.

Uh, no. He was a terrible coach and a terrible recruiter.

Maybe. This team has talent, so I will wait and see what he does with it this year. I think the Crowton goat sacrifice at the end of this season buys time. Everytime I see these threads though, I keep asking who we think will rush in here that would be a big upgrade? Les has largely kept the program clean, had some big wins and keeps us entertained at pressers. There are a lot worse out there fer sure.

We can win it all this year and it will not stop the ones saying get rid of him now will still be saying get rid of then.

For a certain group on here will say give him one more year and if he can't win all next year also get rid of him.

It will not keep these threads off the Rant they will keep coming no matter what!

Go get'em Mad Hatter! You can make life real bad for them!

We going 14-0 this year and the year after that!

I Say!

We are not competitive in our losses, depending on who the teams are that we lose too and if we continue to have a poor offensive showing and clock management problems.

I think we should have beaten Alabama, if our starting qb, cb and rb's don't get injured. Also, poor officiating as usual.

Florida, if we had an offense, we could have beat. We need to return the favor this year.

Ole Miss we should have won and same for Penn State, but poor clock management lost us those games, plus the field conditions didn't help with Penn St, but they had to play on that field too.
