And to the person that said to look at trends, 6-0 baby, how you like them apples?

Someone post Larry Cokers stats while at miami, i know his overall was 60-15

Please share which backup RBs and QBs are finding great success in the NFL. I am dying to see this list.

If Miles can win the next three games, he'll have the exact same record, 60-15 that Larry Coker did at Miami.
And we all know there is no difference between SEC football and ACC football, huh.
The ACC is winning BCS bowl games at an 17% rate and SEC is winning BCS bowl games at 74% rate.

Could you give me those statistics in the last 2 years?
He's 15-4 overall over the last two seasons. I won't break down the stats further than that, except to point out he's 9-3 in SEC play over the past two season as well.
And to whoever that thinks going .500 against the top 10 is average... you are remarkably dishonest or really dumb.

Why would I do that? If your point is for longevity, I should give you the numbers from a six-year career, no? If your point is for recency, then I should give you the numbers from THIS season, no? In fact, the only purpose that this request of yours serves is to make you look like an arse.

Also, I'd like to know. Of all his top 25 opponent wins: How many of them finished the season top 25, and was he ranked higher or lower than them prior to the game?
If you want to know the answer to this, look it up yourself. But while you're at it, you should probably look at the teams that were unranked when he beat them but finished the season ranked. I don't have that kind of time... and for the record, yes, Boise State does continue to get credit for beating Virginia Tech... a team that will likely win the ACC.
quote:
Also, in most of the big skill positions. How many starters did he play when it was their back ups who are successful in the NFL? Seems to be a common theme in both quarterbacks and running backs
I'd love to see this list.
Russell was a starter for three years, Flynn is destined to be a perennial backup QB. Hester is a starting FB, Keilland is a practice squad RB. Charles Scott is not in the league to my knowledge. You really picked horrible positions to critique, as the most effective RB LSU currently has in the NFL is Kevin Faulk.
FWIW, you prick, LSU was amazing last year and this year. No, they're not flashy, but they win games. If you want flashy, go to the west coast and watch fricking Oregon games.
You want a trend, Miles is 15-4 in his last 19 games, including 9-3 in the SEC... that's nothing to shrug at. The reason we had to drive down the field for the FG? A muffed punt. A kick coverage blunder. An interception. Please explain how ANY of these are MIles' fault.
Also, come from behind means.... you were losing late in the game, and won. It's a pretty simple definition.

Try this record. SEC CG apperances since 2008 to the end of his tenure, 0-0.
Can't win a title if you can't win that game.
Can't win the game if you don't make the game.

Just like he was doomed to the fate of never beating Florida again, right? STFU. He has as good a chance or better than Bobby Petrino, Gene Chizik, Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer or Nick Saban to play and win it THIS year.

dude you're way to happy about les beating a mediocre fla team. The hard part of our schedule is coming up. I'll be happy if we pull out a 2-2 sec record in our last 4.
Dont know who ever said that. Sure as frick didnt come out of my mouth.
First thing is Spurrier will play in it because the east is junk randall.
Gene chiznik has just a good shot as us. Actually better being that we have to play them at Auburn.
Saban lost to a SEC east team so all they have to do is beat everyone in the west and they're in.
Meyer and Petrino are in the outside looking in (your only valid point in this ultra miles loyalist rant.)
Sorry I hurt your feelings brah.

I won't. 10-2 would be a disappointment after the first six (seven) weeks. Clean up the penalties and turnovers and this is a very, very good football team.

Nuts. You should meet him. I'm sure the two of you would hit it off great.

So basically, if everyone wins out, then everyone plays in the SECCG. Great analysis there.

Still alot of football left to play.
FWIW miles hasn't ever gone without losing 2 games and trust me the stars aren't gonna align like they did in 07. This leads me to believe that you think were going undefeated.
keep on dreaming

If Miles can beat Auburn and Alabama he will exactly equal Coker's record at Miami.
