Perhaps you're correct PT, but LSU is going to take a PR hit over the way it has played out publicly.

Unfortunately I have had to fire many people who were not meeting expectations. There are two basic ways, with respect to the person and without respect. How this is done says a lot about the organization.
If people think as this information being leaked (irregardless of who is leaking it) is respectful then I hope you never get that responsibility of firing someone. Someone being fired should never be a joyful time. It has nothing to do with money, but more telling someone they are not good enough.
If by watching this whole $hit show doesn't make you a little disgusted, well that sucks for you.
And this has nothing to do if Les deserves to continue to be the coach or not. If you are not getting the job done then it's time to move on.
LSUis damned if they do and damned if they don't. LSU has basically said nothing so they are assholes. If they would have fired him early they would be assholes.
We had to hear about this being a business 3 times when Miles leveraged LSU for better contract terms, especially the Arkansas leverage. Now we are hurting his poor feelings by getting rid of him when he's not performing up to the terms he leveraged.

No. Low class, amateur hour shite show.

It's not personal. This is business.
It is unfortunate that some may think Coach Miles is being disrespected. There will be plenty of time in the future to have ceremonies and speeches honoring him. He will be held in proper respect.

You do realize Miles is far more successful than you and smarter than you, right? His degree is for sure better. He has an economics degree from one of the best universities in the country.

When the hell did Miles leverage for money days before a huge game? If he hasn't then the situations aren't the same.

I am glad you think playing aTm to determine who plays in Shreveport is a "huge game." When you leverage a program to prevent you from going to a division rival you perform or you get fired.
Also excuse me if I do not feel sorry for a man getting $15 million to go away.

This thread geez! People on the rant get dumber every day... some how!

That's when the interview with the guy on the Board came out, and it's pretty clear by his wording (if he wins the next 2, that complicates the decision) that he had already decided Les must go, and he had no problem telling people that.

I am glad you are okay with near .500 in the SEC with a near loss to Moo State and beating Auburn in a down year.

Also not to mention that a UF offense that managed 252 yards against Florida Atlantic nearly beat us but for a fake field goal.

You misunderstand. I want les gone. This is the first year I have felt this way. Now I see it is a bit overdue.

Les Miles has an agent so tell what people think. He is a grown man making more money either way than all of us will ever make. Do not feel bad now. To hell with him and this media circus..
I felt bad when Jarrett Lee didn't play in the BCSNCG. That my friend was bullshite
