Are you also going to provide a similar statistical analysis of LSU's second-year players?

I don't care about the argument that you're having, but regarding Jones and Brown, those guys are young players. They're both true sophomores. Your description of them as players makes you look bad, but what you seem to be ignoring is that there are different reasons why guys may not be putting up big numbers early in their career. An extremely talented Alabama roster is a big reason, the developmental process, etc.

Look at the careers of some past LSU players. Guys like Kevin Minter, Lamin Barrow, Craig Loston, Ron Brooks, Perry Riley, Harry Coleman, Eric Alexander, Travis Daniels, Jack Hunt, Fred Booker, et al. And I'm not really saying anything about how the careers of Jones and Brown will go, but you don't write guys off five games into their second year in a program.

Except no it doesn't. If those players were such losses for lsu then they would be producing as a sophomore. We have a true freshman playing better than both of those players.

At what point did you make up in your mind that I said their careers are over or that they can't improve? All I said was as of now they weren't big losses for LSU.

First of all, the down voting, lurking, hiding behind a computer screen buncha sissy boy douche bags that down voted this - you know who you are - deserve a steel towed boot kick right square in the labias.

Second of all. Well, really don't have a second of all. Other than to say he really is as good as OP says. I like the the way OP put it - see him play while you can - as it refers to the fact that he is a "generational" type player. 'Bout one every 40/50 years like him.

I really hope his character is at least 50 pct as solid as purported. If it is, I feel like LSU will win an NC before he gets out of here.

Could you provide a link to the video/transcript? I'd be interested to see that.

Sorry man but I can't find it. It was on Monday morning at about 7:20ish. It was Les and Dari Nohwka on College Football Live.

Pretty sure Texas was more of a threat than bama was during his recruitment so all of this arguing is pretty pointless

I kid you not, Jimmy Smith said this in the Leonard Fournette Documentary.

Did not say they were 'unbeatable'. Just that LSU finds ways to lose to them...frequently of late. Would relish a 45-10 demolition. That will happen if, when and whereas the passing game takes off. 'Til then...

He asked Leonard how he felt about his Touchdown being called back on the penalty (87 yarded vs SU) and Leonard responded, that wasn't my touchdown. That was LSU's touchdown.

#1) Texas didn't even have a coach then. Who the hell was recruiting him?
#2) About a month before the underarmour game Leonard posted a pic of him between an LSU and Bama logos.

I love when people just post shite with no logic or reasoning.

I read LF's entire Twitter history...to before LSU. I am impressed. They guy was running through, over and around people in high school. WOW!

Also, clean guy...at least what he was posting even before LSU. I followed him...he is an inspiration...and I don't follow many.

I think he will inspire other Tigers to be better than they would have been. I hope he has had some words with the receivers, because as good as he is, he needs the element of surprise. He can't be the ONLY threat.

Actually, based on the documentary, why isn't he taking a few tosses? he could be the one mane threat if they would call a few plays with him as a receiver. That could keep the D confused.

As I said, I'm not interested in this argument. It's too early to make a legitimate determination about that.

A one-word description of them as players isn't much to go on. You didn't add any caveats about them improving as players. In the context of the thread, you were at least writing them off in a sense. That's why I posted what I did.
