Look, I agree with you that I wish he was traveling. Hell, I wish he was healthy and was playing.
I just don't think this is an example of him being a bad leader or not caring about LSU or the team. He's done more than enough in my opinion, and if he needs to hang back and rehab or start prepping for the combine or the wonderlic or something, go for it.

Hell he might be traveling idk. I just think he could have waited that's all so I'm gonna say it wasn't the right decision in my eyes which ultimately doesn't matter anyway. If it's for his family, great for him, my original comment was poor character so I edited. I don't think he's a bad teammate or leader but maybe he could have waited and worn the purple and gold as a teammate one more time. I'm done talking about this, it's stressing me out

I love the commentary by message board fricking Mother Theresa's on here acting like they're the barometer by which integrity and loyalty are measured. The dude is ready for the NFL, a dream he had since childhood and HIS decision was to get 100% ready for the combine and not risk losing out on millions that he's been waiting years to receive.
If he gave up on his team or whatever that some people are claiming then that's between him and his teammates. I don't know his reasoning and I don't care really. He gave a lot to LSU and it's fans. The least we, as fans, could do is respect his decision and root for him and our team. Of course that's not going to happen because our fans have to bitch about something. Why not bitch about Fournette and his life decisions? Please.

I have met LF7 a number of times and really like the man. I'm disappointed that he was injured most of this year. I'm even more disappointed that I won't see him in an LSU uniform again. But I am sure my disappointment is no where close to his disappointment. If he could play-- he would.
