It just blows my mind how hypocritical conservative people are. He didnt go out in the street with guns and beat people within an inch of their lives like the good ole boys in Charleston.
What LF is doing is wrong because he is black. What the protesters in Charleston are doing are right because they're white. That level of stupidity is scary.
Edit: and I'm not conservative or liberal. I agree a little on both sides. But blatant hardcore racism isn't cool and it has no place in America.

Agreed. Trump's comments were made in defense of the American flag and the respect it deserves. Without even knowing it, all the players that decided to kneel today as a protest against Trump's comments are essentially protesting his defense of the American flag, which is a losing battle.
If the NFL really wants to nip this in the bud before it gets more out of hand, they should go back to time when the national anthem was played while the players were still in the locker room. If they want to protest something or express their views, they can do it to the media before or after the game. This way they can clearly articulate the message they are trying to get across to the public without it coming off as disrespectful to the flag and those that died or were injured defending it.

AshLSU, it is self centered egotistical people like that are partly the reason this country is in the shape if is today. If kneeling during the Anthem doesn't hurt anyone then how can a statue hurt anyone. It is a personal affront to me as a 23 year veteran. You may have NO pride in this country but a lot of us do.
