I find the whole thing a little fascinating. These guys are kneeling in protest at the anthem of a flag that was carried by men that fought their own kin and died for their right to be free. If, that's what the Civil war was fought for.

Here's the thing though... 90% of the country doesn't give a damn what they do. So what you just said is completely nonsensical. The NFL and NBA will never go away.

No but here we go. Anyone who doesnt agree with the dumbasses like yourself who walk in lockstep with the dumbass left wing agenda is a "racist". Lol.

What I said is true. If the black community wants to change things then stop killing each other. When was the last time you heard anyone in the black community protest about the huge numbers of killings in Chicago for example? When?

Jesse Jackson is from Chicago. Obama is from Chicago. Never a word.

This NFL bs is about nothing and if these black guys including Fournette really give a shite about their community then start talking about it and trying to change it. They won't because they can't play a blame game with that.

Everything I stated is true. If it hurts your little feelings so be it. Go back to name calling. Its what you liberals do.

He saw that he could make these comments, it would then make a bunch of athletes disrespect the anthem, which would trigger a bunch of people and further polarize everything in his favor. He is a master manipulator. It's cool and scary at the same time.

A master manipulator? Hardly. He's just got this knack for bringing out what's already there.

So I assume that everyone watching games at home gets their asses off the sofa to stand for the anthem... right?

Left wing agenda? Look guy, I'm not political whatsoever. I'm a 25 year old white guy that is constantly around racist white people that talk exactly like yourself. They ALL support Trump blindlessly no matter what he says or does. I use common sense and Trump is the worst president in US history and its not even close. He supports racism and bigotry and acts like a 13 year old girl. He's more worried about NFL players kneeling for the anthem than white supremacist rallies.

You can say you're not racist a thousand times, but deep down you know you're racist as frick.

The entire Kaepernick act of the "protest" was protesting the flag and the national anthem and what they believed they stood for, systemic racism and police brutality. I am not sure how this got lost in the mix. Kneeling was always a protest against a racist America.

Your examples are not equivalent.

The idea that cowboy fanatics will stop watching games for whatever reason is rather ridiculous.

What does black on black crime have to do with equality?

He can be a great person and make mistakes at the same time. A lot of these players are doing this because other players have influenced them. A large portion of them believe the lies they're told by the groups that control their cultures political views and don't see this for what it truly is, a political protest. The guy who started all of this is a racist and most of the louder voices in this are racist. Most of these players aren't aware that cops kill many more white people than black people every year, but you don't see the white players protesting for trailer parks and meth labs do you.

Want to protest then find a way that doesn't insult people that serve or died for this country. There is a reason you stand for the nation anthem. The national anthem and the reason we stand for it has nothing to do with what they are trying to protest.

the people that died for this country died for the right of every american to peacefully protest.

its amazing that most of the people bitching about players kneeling on here also support keeping up confederate statues of people that took up arms against the United States of America.

fricking hypocrisy.

Attendance was down last year and continues further down this year, slow but sure. It's not going to happen overnight. If that continues no owner can afford the 8 figure salaries for the mega stars. That includes the NBA.

Do whatever they want on their own time. I am not paying major $ to attend football games and concerts to endure social protesting - especially from multi-millionaires that are out of touch with the real world.

Haha... I wouldn't disown my son or "kick him to the curb" first... Second.. Fournette is not my son and if he was I would really evaluate how I raised him and have a long discussion with him about our history and how to respect our country, especially in a completely different country...just because he thinks he's doing the right thing doesn't make it right. What he's doing is causing division and creating hate among people that normally would be perfectly fine. Boo Fournette and all of the other "kapernix"
