SIAP

Pretty cool how this is possible. I Would like to see more services come available like this to help ease the minds of those who are torn between school and declaring early out of fear or injury.

Peyton had a policy his senior year, but it wasn't that much.

For LF7 to collect and keep it, he could never play football again.

Similar to Anthony Kim, the former PGA pro. Dude is making millions but he can't play professionally again or he gives it up.

The real question is where parents got the $160,000 for the insurance policies from. This worries me as an LSU fan...even if it's legit, it still gets the NCAA snooping.

ETA: apparently took out loans...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the school could help contribute to the insurance policies

"Fournette and his family took out loans to purchase two $10 million insurance policies through Kaymore Sports Risk Management and Consulting. "

This is true. The school can help pay for this.

How in the hell is this racism? I don't know any families period that keep 160k in liquid cash. So unless his dad is LeBron James or a millionaire, I'd wonder where he came up with it.

Why would they need to have have liquid cash? They could borrow this money easily knowing the situation. This is a very low risk loan for a lender and the money is pretty much guaranteed unless the insurance company or NFL bellies up. It's kind of a no brainer.
