Right now, the three OF spots along with DH duties should be spread amongst Mitchell, Dean, Mahtook, Helenihi, Dozar, and Hanover (when Helenihi plays 3rd). Chad Jones in the mix when he returns.

Give Landry some AB's, but if he doesn't improve, move Chad Jones in, and Dozar or Mahtook out (Freshman).

Landry is making a career out of 2 great catches right now.

You CANNOT have a career avg under .280 in your 2nd year and expect to be a leadoff hitter.

I wouldn't be too mad if he hit .280 this year, but I can almost guarentee you that Leon will move down in the lineup very soon.

Leon is struggling right now. PM needs to sit him against LH pitching or until he starts hitting again.

.272 last year. Is that what you call again?

Landry wasn't good at the plate last year and he is no better this year.

The people who defend LL are those same people who think it's never OK to criticize a college athlete.

every time he comes up to bat you can count on him either striking out or getting so fooled that he barely sticks the bat out and hits a pop up somewhere...why is he seemingly getting worse every at bat?...he was hot at the beginning of the season against those crappier teams but now the opposing pitchers have figured him out..i guess...why have a hitter that rarely makes contact be your lead-off hitter?...no idea

Consructive criticizm is one thing, it's the bashing that isn't appropriate. That being said, LL is not doing well at the plate for sure. He leads the team in SO with 25, Helenihi only has 13 and we know how most ranters feel about him (myself not included). I'm not the coach of course, but I would sit him out a game. If today, I would put Dean in LF, Mitchell in CF and Mahtook in RF with Dozar at DH. JMO

told me what?

he is 2-3 right now, with a leadoff HR to start the game, and a RBI single to increase the lead back to 6.

what exactly did you tell me?
