These two LSU legends didn’t tell one lie. Esp Jarvis at around the 1:40 point. The identity and culture of LSU defense is aggressive man to man hardnose attack defense. Blake too often has forgotten the strength and identity of LSU football defensively. That cover 3 bullshite is not LSU football

These guys aren’t the most articulate with their opinions or polished in their delivery (neither am I ), but I really enjoy listening to these two discuss ball

Their opinions and knowledge hold way more weight than anyone’s on this board

I’ve been pretty positive with the future of the program overall but our defensive strategy really confused me vs UK. I was so excited about what we saw earlier in the season because we looked aggressive again. It’s like Blake’s defense can only be aggressive and the identity falls apart when he plays differently. He just needs to live and die with being aggressive

EXACTLY. If we are aggressive and an offense makes plays tip your cap but sitting back in soft zone and surrendering easy access throws with no pass rush is maddening. Take the fight to the offense and force the issue. Why willingly let the opposing offense dictate the terms of engagement? That first half gameplan vs Trinidad still pisses me off. When we blitzed him and played man half 2 his numbers fell off a cliff. I simply don’t get it we have the personnel to be a man to man aggressive team.Blake doesn’t lean into that nearly enough

Both were some of the last blue blood lsu do die guys. Jarvis is in my top 5 tigers of all time just for his kickoff coverage hits as a freshman.

"We have a 40-million-dollar roster and we can't get 1 yard?"

It's a good point

I agree with everything both of them said. It shouldn’t take these types of losses to see it though.

Baker played pussy ball against Kentucky. Not sure why. Tiger defense should be suffocating the QB. Hopefully he got his arse chewed this week and will put together a better game plan.
