I find it pretty funny that and fan of alabama would come in here to try to defend their schools honor.
Don't matter if the story is true or not,to think anyone will listen to them is fricking gold.

Hopefully after Saturday we don't have to keep hearing about the BCS game in New Orleans. Alabama shouldn't have been in the game, Saban shouldn't have been on ESPN lobbying for them to make it, etc. but it all happened. Alabama deserves credit for showing up and playing a good game on 1/9 and earning the win and hopefully LSU can end their run this year Saturday. It will always seem odd the way things went down with the LSU offense that night and the response afterward but nobody will get any answers as to what really happened with any game plan unless Miles decides to explain it in the future.

Weren't the Saints in the playoffs at that time?
Why would Gregg Williams be concerned about helping Saban by spying on LSU's practices?

Williams was a GA at the U of Houston while Nick was at the Oilers, the year Nick left to become coach at Toledo, the Oilers hired Williams...perhaps Nick helped him get the job and was calling in an old favor
Now that is good stuff.

But didn't JJ say basically that most of the stuff that they practiced wasn't even used in the game?

Again, I have zero opinion on whether Williams did this. My gut tells me no. That said, DO NOT BE AN IDIOT AND THINK THAT BECAUSE OF OFFENSE WAS SO BLAND THAT NIGHT IS AN INDICATION OF WILLIAMS NOT DOING THAT POS THING.
you are full of yourself. i don't know if it went on or not myself.
you obviously have convinced yourself it had to be the lsu offense and nothing else other than could be a contributing factor.
so take your own advised and don't be an what you are calling others, and only consider your own "opinion".
Here are some facts.
1)bama had problems defending j.j. and the option in the first game.
2)greg williams did help saban with the option for the n.c. game.
3) greg williams has been suspended for running a bounty program.
4) greg williams has signed an affidavit for the n.f.l. stating Jonathon Vilma paid a 10k bounty.
6)oklahoma accused lsu/saban of spying on their practices.
7) lsu's offense was basic but effective for 13 games, including bama.
Now, the evidence does support something like this COULD HAVE HAPPENED. Not saying it did. I don't know.
However, to suggest greg williams and nick saban have the moral character not to take part in it, well, is being what you call others of being. i'll be nice and not use the word.

You must be a shitty driver.
You think that with all the media in NO for the BCSNC and the Saints playoff game two days earlier, that it would be easy to get from Airline Drive into the Superdome?
You fly a helicopter or something?

Yes. I'm certain
Not was I was implying. Are you absolutely certain that Greg Williams didnt watch any LSU practices?

So the top secret info on our offensive strategery of halfback dives and JJ fricking up the option was a big help to Bama....mmmm-kaaaaaaaaaaaay....

A few of them did.......
If Miles got word that his gameplan has been compromised, do you go in and run it anyway?
Or do you try to run what worked the first time?
Neither would have worked.

They could have had a team of spies.
Nothing to see or learn.
Obvious game plan and poor execution is obvious vanilla game plan and poor execution.
You didn't need secret info to stop it.

During the practice times for LSU? Yes.
You think there was a parade every day of the week before the game?

Everyone already thinks Saban/Williams is a POS, why allow this sort of collusion to go unpunished?

you illiterate hillbilly.
You said Gregg Williams walked down from his office in the Super Dome, you illiterate moron. Such a place does not exist.
But keep thinking that Gregg Williams took a half day off during the playoffs to drive from Airline Highway to down town and sit around LSU's practice long enough to learn all of the ins and outs.

Some bastard must be still giving it out this season too.
This is flat out retarded. We are talking about 2 different seasons with different personnel. Someone who is supposed to be a fan would recognize by now that the O-Line in 2011 was more dominate then this years line due to change & injuries.
Saban knew his defenses struggled against the option last season. Just look at the first matchup last season. They gave up 150 on the ground to us & gave up 300+ to Georgia Southern. So I guess you don't think Saban would have taken any info to prepare for the rematch? You are retarded if you think otherwise. That fact that LSU was so bland in the NCG screams that the gameplan was changed. The players basically said they ran NOTHING that was practiced leading up to the game.
Posted on 11/2/12 at 10:35 am to Zamoro10
Dos crystal, you forgot to add to your list that Saban's mentor has already been busted for spying and has not won a SB since being outed

AGAIN.......
After 1/9, LSU fans were DEMANDING an explanation from Miles about what happened in the game.
He never came out and said or explained anything.....to this day, no one got any sort of explanation or reasoning behind what happened.
How much of a hit does Miles take if he comes out and tells the media and the fanbase that Alabama knew the gameplan and he had to change it because it was compromised by Saints personnel.
Not only would he would have taken a hit, his whole career as a whole would have taken a hit as far as his coaching brethren.

Who would believe him? He would be a pariah in the coaching industry if he did that with no proof. The coaching business is completely accepting of cheating. Not so much of exposing secrets.

You still haven't let anyone know how you KNOW he never went down to the Superdome.
