One of the greats.

Many of the older guys grew up listening to Jackson.

He was a true legend.

He called the LSU/ Ohio State game in 1988. I don't think that was the last LSU game he called, but it was one of the most memorable.

The one in Tiger Stadium was a CBS game with Ara P and Brent Musburger.

The 88 game in Columbus was a ABC game though and that might have been the last LSU game he called.

I went back and watched the video. It didn't sound like Keith, but I'm also not saying you're wrong either.

But Keith Jackson was a consummate professional in his career and set the Gold Standard for sportscasting. RIP

Gary Bender and Dick Vermeil did the 1988 game @ Columbus vs OSU. YouTube has it.

I’m still wondering the last LSU game he did. The last one I know of is LSU-Bama in 1985
