71 sacks vs 20

Actually it was 79 o 21

And picks were 20 to 21.

So all the JJ dickriders, and Miles, really have nothing to stand on

Except the most embarrassing bowl performance in BCS history. And that they have made JJ the most hated Tiger ever. I'm sure he'd rather had split time with Lee at this point

Lee Theory - Did the Lee family ask for this?
If Lee had grade issues that came as a result of his poor reaction to the Bama-01 game, meaning he did miss significant classes and exhibited immature behavior not becoming of a 5th year Sr leader &/or had a form of a mental shutdown threatening his eligibility and academic performance.....

Then, what are the chances that CLM and Lee's father spent some time discussing this between Bama-01 and his reported/assumed eligibility restoration, and came up withe the following joint decision?
- Bench Lee to allow him to focus on his academics so that he could retain eligibility (and possibly to graduate as planned in Dec which may be the case).
- Do not play Lee in anything of significance thereafter, especially against Bama in the BCSNCG for risk of him performing poorly against Saban's NFL-like defense yet again, which could reduce his already slim chances of getting drafted to zero.
- Upon Lee's completion of his Fall semester and LSU season, get Lee working 100% on his dream of impressing in a different uniform where he could have a fresh start with no risk of seeing him on the biggest stage with everyone watching do poorly again. No more film of Lee versus Bama would be possible. Bama-01 chalked up as just a bad game.
- Give Lee a talk and encourage him to put the past behind him in his public statements to show he can take the high road, giving his public image and NFL application a boost. Lee really does seem to love LSU, so this also softens the blow to the LSU nation and CLM (as opposed to speaking out negatively about them both), and speaks of his character and willingness to be the ultimate team player - to send a message to NFL scouts.

If this was the agreement, then Miles surely could not say so in the public so as to retain the agreement with Lee's father. He would not mention the grades, he would not mention Lee being unable to manage himself maturely in the weeks after 11/5, and he would not play Lee in honor of the agreement. He would not before the game or aftet the game. He probably would not tell the team, as that would make it a certainty that some player would leak it. This allows Lee to have ended the season with one of the best QB ratings in the SEC at 152 and an 9-0 record as a starter (and 8-0 for games mostly played), to get new coaching in the All Star game in Tuscon, to get a fresh start, to get his grades/degree, and to show his wonderful character.

I know this is hard to believe, but we are talking about a highly unusual situation and about CLM, so it calls for a highly unusual theory. This all adds up.

This would then be the story of Lee's Sr year...He completed 104 of 167 passes for 1,306 yards this season with an 8-0 record for his primary games played. Lee threw for 14 touchdowns with just 3 INT's, finishing with a QB record of 152.

Flame away...

Well your post on a national message board just ruined the plan. Thanks.

Nah...everyone thinks I am dumb, so they'll discard it. They were right all along, JJ was all that, even though I never saw it.

Les preferred Jefferson to Lee.

That's the story.

With Lee throwing two ints. in the bama game is nowhere close to no first downs or completed passes in the first half not quarter but half of the SEC champ game or one first down in the BCSNC game in the once again first half. That choice was Miles all the way because he told the fans they were not going to decide who was gonna be playing on the field. Miles lost the game but he showed the fans who was boss.

JJ needed time because his decision making skills were awful. His accuracy was never on par with Lee.

JJ held unto the ball too long almost always.

Mr. Rocketscientist, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

What are the chances Les was in a bathroom at a bar and heard someone crying in the stall next to him...after exchanging pleasantries Les realized it was Lee but Lee (obviously, inebriated) didn't realize it was Les!!!...Les starts asking him cunning questions which lead to football and Lee (not knowing he's talking to Les!) confesses that he hopes he doesn't play in the BCSCG bc he is scared...Les then finishes wiping and leaves the bathroom before Lee...thus, Les lovingly leaves Lee on the bench during the game...after the game Les pulls Lee aside and tells him that it was him in the stall next to him on that late night and they hug it out

Rocketman- You seem like a decent fellow but just bc you come up w a logical/plausible scenario doesn't mean that you don't look like a fartface...yes, JJ sucked it up...maybe there was some other reason besides the staff simply not trusting Lee any more than JJ...but your theory is laughable

Actually this isn't the first time I heard this. My father is friends with an ex-walk (last year) ons father. He actually told him pretty much this exact same thing and that it was Lee's dad's decision. No I am not flaming so take it for what its worth. This is just what my dad told me and he has no reason to make shite up
