My understanding of the incident was that Clark had did the ghost hand movement thing and was talking trash to Alexis all game. Reese gave it back to the Clark in defense of Alexis. But you won’t hear that story in the media.

I did not like Reece’s display of poor sportsmanship. Never react to someone’s inappropriate action by putting yourself on their level. Take the high road and show some class. It was a bad look for her.

Larry Bird is known as one of the greatest trash-talkers in the history of sports, and his legend is enhanced because of it.
How Angel has now become a target of scorn for doing what great athletes have always done is laughable. A bunch of teams had their chances to shut her up, yet she's the one getting a ring in the end.

It's debatable whether his trash-talking enhances his legend or not, but even if it's true it doesn't make it right. Lot's of people are admired by millions for things that should not be admired. As an example, take your pick of Obama or Trump; each are admired by millions and at least one of them was terribly wrong on some very important issues.
I've always been a Bird fan because of his awareness of the floor, his incredible shooting, and his clutch play (not to mention multiple championships for my favorite team). As I got older and learned about his trash-talking, it took away a little bit of the admiration.
Obviously lots of people feel differently than I do about his trash talking, but then again lots of people feel differently about gangsta rap than I do. Different strokes for different folks.
What I find really discouraging is how few people seem willing or indeed even able to allow other people to have different opinions on the issue. Example #895,322,571,266 why the internet sucks.
