This is actually true. Remember Rohan Davey. I used to call him Slow Ro.
But I remember as clearly as yesterday the game (not all the details but the event) early in the season his breakout year. He had been playing the same, tired football, and then he was forced to scramble and took a big hit. It was like he had been woken from a deep sleep. He became a quarterback that day. He'll always be one of my favorite LSU qb's because of that experience and the great season he had that year. We beat Alabama and went to the Peach Bowl. Of course that doesn't mean it would happen with Leavitt, but you never know. Joe Burrow used to say he liked to get that first hit because it got him in the game.

Do y'all watch the game with the TV off or with a sleep mask on? His foot work, timing, and mechanics are the problem. He has plenty of arm strength. Most of his missed throws are when he and the receiver either aren't on the same page or he used improper foot work which either messed up his timing or caused him to sail a throw.

I remember when Jayden Daniels used to do the same, but eventually settled down towards the end of the season and we all know what he did the next year.

Perhaps Leavitt knows how to be a great QB, but he got hit on the head and forgot.
Same thing happened in Tom and Jerry.
They dropped an anvil on Tom's head, and he got his memory back.
I'm not what they call a medical doctor, but it's probably worth trying.

Maybe. But if that’s the case, getting hit in the head again may create a double negative which mathematics proves as a positive, practically cancelling things out. We have the recipe, time for Kiffin to deploy this strat. We riding.

Of course I suggested he would be a better running back that QB, so why not do this. Put Clark and SL and Jones in the backfield at once. Direct snap for running game and or passing game. I know JOnes runs better than JL and Clark throws better than SL, but if we need to fool the defense and have a crazy run/pass option, then roll SL out, preferably to the right and let hin run throw, or even start a reverse....anything to get some excitement into the offense without it being just another broken play scramble. Why not, we aren't going to win with SL trying to be a drop back passer.
