Not saying he never leaves LSU.
But the SEC bullshite certainly galvanized our relationship.
From Verge, Rousse, AG, Gov to about 98% of all fans are all behind him.
Future Recruits saw it too.

It was never in question. Do you realize the financial commitment involved to fire BK and pull Lane and his staff during the actual season? They burned the boats.

Well let's not get ahead of ourselves. Kiffin has said point blank in the fairly recent past that he is not a guy that necessarily has loyalty to any place no matter the circumstances. He views it more as a transaction/business relationship. Perhaps being around O will help him find some love for Louisiana though.

But there is always a breaking point, and we didn’t find it.

You forgot about the Speaker of the House and House Majority Leader. I’m sure the SEC realized real quickly that they were playing with fire when 2 of the most powerful members of Congress started getting involved.
“you see that bill you want passed, the PCSA? It’d be a shame if that doesn’t come up for a vote”

Theoretically. It was just nice to see it in play, practically.

True.
Also, the other ten SEC states stayed out of it. That tells me a lot.

Maybe so. But humans have the affinity to stick with those that have their back. Lane certainly wouldn’t ever leave us for an SEC school. Maybe one or two premier outside schools could pluck him, but I don’t see it happening for at least 4 years
