This was personally my low point as an LSU football fan, mostly because the gap between expectations and reality was massive. I was so pumped for that game, believed all of Miles' bullshite, thought for sure Harris had turned a corner in the bowl game against TT and they showed up and it was the same old shite. It was irrationally disappointing.

I remember being outright mad that we were giving up on recruiting QBs from high school and were now going to just bring in mediocre guys from mediocre schools playing in mediocre conferences every year hoping for another Burrow home run. Watching Jayden develop, dominate, play tough as hell, win the Heisman, and be a good teammate was pure joy to watch as a fan.

I didn’t say anything to myself, but I remember being excited about Jefferson.

Miles’ first year LSU blew a lead against… maybe Tennessee???
I remember saying to Myself Les wasn’t up for the job and I could not support him. But he grew on me.

I wanted Walker Howard to start over Jayden after the 2022 A&M loss

Also was texting buddies “we need to get a room lined up in Dallas for the natty asap” after we beat Florida in 2015 to move to #2 and 8-0. I thought we were finally going to beat bama and win it all. Les proceeds to lose the next 3 and goes to the Texas bowl

That Tom Brady would be a bust and Rohan Davey would be starting in New England his second year.

From 2009-2014, I was a big believer that LSU should leave the SEC and join the Big 12.

Reasons:
1) Tired of being systemically screwed by Alabama + the conference.
2) Would incentivize LSU to get a real offense.

Edit: I was 12-16 at this time, so a total moron.

Matt Flynn needs to be benched, or he is going to cost us a national title.

Being in Las Vegas last year, I was confident that Kelly would break the streak on opening game losses.

after the first game of his Heisman year, he looked exactly like he did the previous year....incapable of releasing the pass on time.
Something happened following that game and he became a QB with unreal field vision. I sat in TS and watched that Fla game and it was the single greatest exhibition of running and passing by a QB that I had ever witnessed. My mind changed that night.
