Well, Nuss is predicted at 15 if Saints draft higher ... nah Carr seems to be doing well now.

4 1st rounders is totally possible.

The OTs are mostly receving grades in that range already, all they have to do is stay healthy and continue to play at a high level.

HP7 moving to the star positions MIGHT have finally unlocked the kid to do the things that we know he can do. The SC game was a great sign. I could easily see him tearing it up from here out this year.

Nuss is a quarterback with elite arm strength AND accuracy who's still not a finished product. Experience this season is going to do wonders for him. Playing his way into the the first round is very much on the table.

For fun, if I had to imagine a 5th guy, I'll say Lacy. Probably means him catching like 1200 yards and 16+ TDs which he can absolutley do.

Thats interesting. I was told after the USC and Nicholls games that Perkins had no chance of being a first round pick

A little surprised Nuss is that high, but if he continues to have a great year, I could see that happening. It would be great to have two OL drafted in the first round, and IMO, I think Emery is just as good as Campbell, so any NFL team is going to be happy with either one.

I know this is probably isn't going to be too popular with LSU fans, but I wouldn't draft Perkins in the first round and probably not until the 3rd at earliest. He had an incredible freshman season, but he's pretty much been non existent the last two years. You can blame it on coaching or playing him at the wrong position, but great players make plays regardless of where they are on the field. There have been several games where Perkins played the entire game and you never saw him make a tackle. I feel confident in saying that each time Devin White hit the field, you couldn't help but notice that he was a great player. I just don't see that in Perkins.

This must be a shite draft if mocks have Cam Ward and Carson Beck going 1 and 2.

3 first rounds picks at QB in 6 years

Who would’ve thunk that 10 years ago?

Cam Ward is an elite prospect. I agree on Beck though he is a system QB

What if they all come back. Will Campbell is having his worst year ever, Nuss may want to come back and try to win a championship, Harold may want to come back and see where he should actually play in the NFL and play there a whole year to perfect the position. Jones may be more NFL ready than all of them

BK under achieving with NFL draft picks is becoming a trend.

So can Zach Wilson. I actually think (at this moment) they are pretty comparable
Agreed. Someone will fall in love with Nuss' arm and moxie like they did Wilson's.

comes back for a heisman and a ship and top 5 pick. Would be epic for LSU and for him.

That would be the best decision for the young man. He’s not NFL ready and could use another season. He won’t end up being a first round pick this year anyways

They will be replacing 4 guys on the o line and probably their 3 top receivers and tight end.

4 1st rounders on a team that might finish with 6 or 7 losses

Fascinating

Underwood gonna start next year or do we get Eli Holstein?

Holstein is not coming here. He has a good thing going at Pitt. Stats are pretty good. See how he does in conf play.

As for Nuss in the draft. I expect him to play another season. Could be Collins opportunity

Damn I didn't think he would be that high. If that is the case he won't come back, and can't say that I blame him. Both Burrow and Daniels came back because they were projected 5-7th rounds heading into their Heisman year.

But, remember, Lester Earl says Nuss is not any good, while Saban and Herbstreit were saying he was elite. I just don't know who to believe.

Nuss can make all NFL throws. Definitely a first rounder

you are wasting your time with that guy. He isn't the right type of qb for him. Instead of saying, hey, great for Nuss, he takes a backhanded shot at him saying it is a weak QB class.

LOL....he has started 4 games in his career. He has a minimum of 9 games to still play, and against increasingly tougher competition coming soon. But, it is funny you know he won't get drafted there. I think you were in the thread the other day saying he wasn't good. Are you Lester's assistant?

This could play a huge part of it, if he is projected in first or second round. Teams see his tremendous potential.
