Arky’s defense is really not very good. Otherwise we don’t keep the ball for 5 minutes with the game tied and kick a field goal to win it. Fortunately, our coaches knew. We have to improve on offense.

Arky’s offense is waaay better than their record indicates. They stop themselves with mistakes. They grind on defense’s until they get you out of position to try to contain the QB and pop a big play. Our defense needs more discipline and improvement. Stay in your lane bro and things will get better.

So the big takeaways are we need to get better on offense and defense. Thanks for the insight.

Any thoughts on their game with Kent State?

How would game had ended if Arkansas had all their timeouts available in last few minutes?

I saw 2 teams struggling to find an identity.

Other than a slow start, our offense was fine. What is it you are critiquing here?

LSU has an identity. We have an awesome offense led by an awesome quarterback. Not many teams in the county will slow that offense down.

Too bad the defense is not good and the DC plays scared on third down. He’s fine playing sissy soft zone and giving up all the third down conversions because the one time he blitzed they made a catch in tough coverage.

My thought is outside of Mississippi state anyone could beat anyone in the west right now . All teams have issues to figure out . Ours is defensive. Especially secondary. We will have to play a better game to beat ole miss in Oxford this weekend then we did this past one . Geaux tigers

If you are talking about LSUs offense and LSUs defense, sure.

LSUs offense put up nearly 500 yards of offense in 31 minutes of game time.

The only reason the game was close was because the defense was bad. The offense dictated the game starting with the TD drive before half. They scored fast and they scored methodically. They could do literally whatever they wanted.

The defense followed a 1 minute TD drive to open the 2nd half by giving up a 7-8 minute momentum killing drive. Sure, it only ended in a FG but it kills your offense’s ability to pile up points. LSU never had a chance to stretch beyond an 8 pt lead because the defense didn’t stop anyone.

If any identity needs to be found, it’s a defensive one because right now they are the team that is lost.

I'm glad you found a way to identify the problems everyone knows we have and that you've given us permission to move on. Thanks

My last thought is that this defense plays like a bunch of 3 stars. Where are the P. Petersons,A. Keys, D. Hunters BJs and J. Adams

A very slow start, and the running game using the running backs, still has a long way to go. They are getting better. This offense can be as productive as any that have played here but just not yet. That’s what I see.

The O isn't perfect, lucky it doesn't have to be yet. (The FSU D was the best so far.)

The D is a mess and a problem. Once teams figure out that keeping the O off the field with long methodical drives, similar to what the pigs tried and FSU did. It won't be pretty.

No jell in the jello yet.

Our RB's had 19 carries for 153 yards. Add in JD's running and it's 29 for 192 yards.

29 represents exactly half of our plays. I don't think that using our RBs is as big of an issue as everyone else seems to.
