Last SEC team to not host a Super Regional with 19 wins was Kentucky in 2017

Their RPI was 9 (not sure if that was after the season was over or after the SEC Tournament).
They ended the season going 1-4 if you include the SEC Tournament where they went 1-2.
They hosted a regional and were matched up with 7 seed Louisville so that would have made them the 10 seed (this was before they seeded all 16).
Obviously the conferences have changed as has the criteria to a degree, but it seems to be pretty rare for a 19-win SEC team to be left out of the top 8.

Whether the talking heads want to openly say it or not, “Kentucky Baseball” is never going to receive the benefit of the doubt. “LSU Baseball” carries that weight and more.

LSU will get a National seed, there’s just going to be a whole lot of people upset when it’s a 7 or 8.

If this is true which i think it is, what an absolute shaft they got by the committee

Every season is relative to that season. Every projection has 5 or 6 SEC teams in the Top 8.
