Les isn't gonna fire himself.

Any getting rid of Krags/Stud would just be scapegoating. It's not like anything would change for the better next year.

bama showed on 1/9/12 that they're more than capable of opening things up and relying on the pass and aggressive plays, so they're not exactly comparable (and saban has a history of letting teams back in by playing scared late, which is his biggest flaw)

1. Their o-line protects, and McCarron has all day to sit back in the pocket. LSU can't keep its QB upright on a three step drop.

2. McCarron (who is in no way, shape or form, an all-world QB talent) still manages to put the deep pass on the money most of the time when he takes his shots. Mettenburger puts it of the WR maybe 15% on the time. Big arm, suspect "touch".

3. Many times LSU keeps everyone in to block and runs a one man route. If that guy is covered, the play is fricked. You force you QB to either eat the ball in that situation, or stick the ball into a very tight window. Mett did a lot of both this year

Y'all offensive coordinator is a fricking idiot. Whoever called the last three plays should be fired this morning. clemson used no timeout. I will give him the first play that was a pass but 2nd and 2 and you throw the fricking ball twice with Hill and Ford on the team, WTF.

Miles doesn't have a hair on his arse if he doesn;t fire the OC and his staff and bring in someone that knows what in the frick they are doing.

This staff consistently wastes mores offesnive talent than any other staff in the nation.

Just my opinion

It is a tie.

I cannot believe I agree with a SFP statement.

But by me saying I agree I feel his stance will have changed.

oh yeah those are the best

especially on crucial 3rd and 1s and using OBJ as the single WR when he's like 5-10

Hitt was decent in 2007. That line played well together. He sucked later in his career.

You blame the simpleton offense for giving up all those 3rd and longs early and often in the game?

Last night was so stupid. I can't believe that dickhead got a raise and extension. What a joke.

by the end of the game our defense was tired as fricking shite because our offense wasn't on the field

when your offense shits the bed and lets the offense put up 75 plays with like a quarter to go, your D will be tired. it's one of the main points of this thread.

we never got anything consistent going...hell, most of this season. we were big play or fewer than like 5 plays. there was no middle ground

No that can be blamed on bringing 6 on a 3rd&16.

The Simpleton should replace The Hat as Les' nickname.

Well my point is the reason the defense was tired at the end of the game was because they couldn't get off the field on 3rd down early and often. That's not the offenses fault. Both side of the ball are to blame

Three down lineman, the nosetackle drops into coverage. Two edge rushers and Mett is sacked. I could have died. But our HC is a former offensive line man. He'll right the ship!! No worries!!

that is not true

clemson ran 100+ plays on offense

our offense only had 24 minutes of TOS. that's a failure for an offense that has to rely on dominating TOS to win

What? So giving up third and longs early in the game had nothing to do with a defense being tired (which I'm not even sure I agree with that premise).

Clemson had 32 first downs, all those didn't come when the defense was "tired". Did the offense shite the bed? Sure, but our defense has been crap the last 4 games, including last night.
