LSU is allowing 6.8 runs per game. (not counting the 11+ today)
At what point are fans allowed to criticize the team? Does it take 50 years of sports knowledge to realize that is dogshit? What if said fan knows how to spell baseball, what's the argument in defending that?
IMO if this team makes it to Omaha, the ceiling is 2-2.

this team isn’t sniffing omaha baw. need to learn how to throw strike and play defense. sadly it’s too late in the year to fix those major impediments

Where are all these people that think LSU pitching is fine?
We all know the weakness is pitching. We also think that the offense is good enough to get you to Omaha. One bad weekend does not change that.
People that think like me have every other weekend this season to back up our opinion. The others who disagree have one.

At no point did I bring up the offense.
Calling out a teams flaws is common. I don't know if you're new to LSU sports but it's just what LSU fans do.
This offense is one of the best in the country, top 10, no debate about that but the pitching staff is awful outside Skenes.

People here of course have their heads up their asses and don't take any criticism well but If you can't look at this team and see that we have major problems in the pen then I don't know what to tell you.
We don't have what it takes to go deep at all with relief staff that we have right now.

You’re allowed to criticize. But if you’re going to do so, put your criticism in context. What’s the league average over that period? What is our offensive avg over that same period. Point differential matters.

The teams we play in the SEC every weekend (even the bottom tier) are better than top teams from other power 5 conferences.
Watch how many SEC teams make supers if they space them out in different regionals.
A team with a losing record in the SEC like Auburn is capable of making it to Omaha. They were 16-13 in the SEC last year and made it to Omaha.
LSU already has 16 conference wins with 6 more games to go.
People aren’t giving the parody in the SEC enough credit.
