In only the sense of this is his $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ year and he needs to maximize his exposure and playing time.

Can't blame him for that

I really don’t get this board’s infatuation with him.

He’s raw power, but his swing is awful and he doesn’t really have a position. Arm is way too weak for the OF

Wish he didn't go there but it is smart for his future. He was a good player here that lost the battle in the outfield. He didn't complain and stuck it out. Some wouldn't have. Best of luck to the kid, just not next year

hope he crushes it and Texas loses every SEC series.

AL's not one of those terrorists Jay was talking about. Can't blame him for seeking guaranteed ABs. When you're LSU, you can't make any promises. Texas not quite there yet. Good on em I guess

I really liked Larson and completely understand why he's transferring. I thought he should've got more playing time this past year. I understand why he didn't, but the guy is a hell of a ball player and I would have loved to see if he would have continued his progression this year after a phenomenal freshman year.

I really hate he chose Texas, though. Also, I'm not sure how you can say Texas isn't quite there yet. They won the SEC in their first year and got the number 2 overall seed in the tourney. They might've done a little better in the postseason had it not been for injuries. Just because they lost in the regionals doesn't mean they aren't there yet.

Remember the good ol days when schools could ban transfers within the league.

He just posted a gif of Burrow’s dad doing the horns down. It was just funny it was the first comment and some of the LSU players are busting his balls. It’s all in fun.

Well maybe Jay should have given him more playing time.

Jay just won a national title. Whatever choices he made with roster management produced the results he was hired to produce.

Regardless, tell me which outfielders played over him who shouldn't have. We had 5 guys playing for 3 spots. Larson was the low man. It happens.

I'm honestly shocked he went to a program like Texas where he very well could face the same situation he did here.

Part of me wishes him the best, but the other part of me hopes he’s baseball’s answer to Walker Howard.
