Objectively, Ole Miss has a weak schedule this year and a returning quarterback. Kiffin is in year 5 and returned both coordinators.
They went all in on winning this year and still managed to lose at home to Kentucky and on the road at LSU, LSU probably has more overall talent but Ole Miss has better starters and less holes.
I'm not seeing what the love affair is, really.
They're going to lose 5 games next year.

Exactly but you can’t tell these clowns on this board a thing! I see more schools going after Kiffin than BK even before BK was at LSU.
I mean how many times has Kiffin’s name popped up to replace a coach that got fired or getting ready to fire their coach just in the last couple of years?

I wanted Kiffin. Wasn't happy at all with Kelly. I want a younger coach...would have taken Riley over Kelly.

Ummm Riley has at least a few Heisman under his watch. BK only one. Riley just needs a great DC and I think he has one but will take more than a year to get going on that side of the ball.

He’s a great offensive mind and QB coach. Zero debate.
He lacks the maturity and other key minerals to be an elite HC. He leans too much into the player friendly vibe. A little of that goes a long way. At the end of the day, championship teams are full of accountable players. When they’re not flopping around faking injuries they’re out here on the sidelines spraying fire extinguishers and missing dunks. SC fired this guy on a runway and Saban made him take a hike during the actual playoffs. He’s good for what he is but he aint him. He’ll always fool the easily impressed “Lane fn Kiffin bro!” crowd.

Lane kiffin hasn’t “ rehabbed” 3 programs! Kelly is experienced at fixing broken programs. Kiffin is a great OC but not a program fixer. Kiffin is splashy but very flashy and at times unprofessional
