I think this would've been a very interesting hire. He could've done really well here, but he also comes with baggage. I think he would be a much better coach if he got off Twitter and worried more about his team.
Ole Miss's schedule is also a joke this year. As bad as we are, we win 10 games with their schedule with Florida being one of the losses.
The SEC teams Ole Miss has played are a combined 22-33 and they will end up playing 5 of the 6 teams that ranked 11th or worse in in conference standings. 3 of those teams have a combined 2 wins in conference play, which includes Kentucky's sole SEC win against Ole Miss.
Even that Georgia win isn't as glamorous in my opinion, and he still has the same narrative problem that BK has about not being able to win the big game.

Lol lots of coaches haven’t won a NC title. Meanwhile, Kiffin has done more with less, has turned Ole Miss from irrelevant to relevant, gave them their first 11 win season last year, has Golding as their DC while we pay Baker more than any AC in all of CFB etc etc yet Brian Kelly has taken a relevant program back down to irrelevancy with a bigger paycheck I might add!! THAT is why I would want Kiffin over BK!! You obviously don’t get it and that’s ok!! You don’t have to agree either.

Lol that excuse is so tired! It’s Ole Miss FFS! They haven’t won a NC title since the 60’s! They’ve been completely irrelevant until Kiffin arrived in Oxford yet BK is a top 5 paid HC and dragging us to irrelevancy. It’s the same tired excuses yall gave Les Miles.

This is silly hindsight shite. There was nothing on paper that said Kiffin was a better choice or that Kelly and the team would look so bad in year 3. And of course, Kelly has beaten Ole Miss two of the last three years with arguably the weaker team twice, including this year when Kiffin went all in on the portal with a 3 yr starter at QB.

Wake me up when Kiffin wins ANYTHING of significance. He won NOTHING at USC, TENN and Ole Miss. He was given those jobs base off his name only. So until he wins something or lead a team to even a Championship appearance, then IMO he is just another brick in the wall.

Ole Miss may not have the resources we have, but they went all in this year. Dart was a 3 year starter. They got a really good defensive transfer class.

Yet Ole Miss dominated LSU majority of the game. Lol That game could have gone either way! What about the money LSU has shucked out?!? What about LSU’s overall class being ranked 9th this year and Ole Miss being ranked 17th yet ironically they’re ranked 9th on the AP poll 11th on CFP poll but they will move up. LSU is not even ranked anymore. Lol

Well for starters, he was at Tennessee one year and gave them at least a winning season which they hadn’t seen in a while. USC was on probation after firing Pete Carroll so he was dealing with probation, scholarship restrictions etc. He did well at Florida Atlantic too. Turned a team around who finished 3-9 the year before and finished 11-3 his first and last season there.

Lol one of the most talented yet they have no depth and sit at 17th overall recruiting rankings, LSU 9th. Ole Miss is ranked. LSU is not! Kiffin had to make Ole Miss relevant again which hasn’t been the case since Eli Manning was there! To do what he has done at Ole Miss deserves some credibility. Only a Fkn idiot or a hater would deny credibility. Smh
