With logic like that how could I disagree

Saban didn't have the ability to pick his players in his first year.
The ones that did transfer n had to sit out. Whatever players Saban had his first year is who was already there.

LK was able to pick his team for the most part.

That's why I said bad comparison.

and if they beat most likely 3 ranked out of the six opponents that is a playoff

They'll have to win out, and they will be playing teams who are almost as desperate as LSU. It is not impossible, as those who loudly lament the demise of LSU football might suggest; it is also not likely, as those who are even more prolific sunshine pumpers than I might suggest either.

Good chance this team ends up 9-3 or 8-4 (word to CBK, who I give tons of crap to, even though he may be right in this). Gets us in a bowl game. Maybe a very good one, maybe mediocre; time will tell.

I'm still hoping for the strongest possible finish, but I am also bracing my heart for disappointment.

He is clearly an alter/troll RB.

Take a look at this thread he started on 10/5:

It’s ok to think this team is elite

Feel like this fanbase has gotten to this weird place where a lot of you are almost conditioned to look at every game and go "man, I don't feel great about this one."

We assembled one of the best rosters in cfb this offseason. Fans, coaches and media agree with this.

We have one of the best (if not the best) coaching staffs in the country. Other coaches know this and so do fans / media when they put their feelings about Lane aside.

This team had a lot of new pieces and the most important one was coming off an injury and didn't get a real offseason to make this offense mesh before going into Clemson.

Yeah, we lost to ole miss on the road, by one score in our 3rd game with this staff / roster. Who wouldn't agree we're already substantially better just since then?

This team was set up to be elite and by all accounts, we're headed in that direction. Embrace it.

We should go into Kentucky and win by a couple scores. That should be the standard for this squad.

This is either a clear attempt to set the bar too high and then blast the team/staff for not reaching that mark, or he’s a teenager that can’t maintain any sense of perspective from week to week.

Either way, best to just let him be. There’s no reaching this one
