Of course he wants that. He wants all to get in bidding war.

He already knows what he gonna do, he just wants the premium value.
His agent talks, his wife visits. He does nothing, talks to no one, and gets the highest amount in the country. All he has to do is sit quietly and watch.

JMHO but I dont think it was so sinister but it was a bold move by Lane. OM gave him a deadline to give them an answer and his response was to send his family on a tour of Gainsville and BTR. He did nothing wrong here and sent his own shot back over the bow.

Now, however, OM is pissed and they are making the decision for him to some degree. I believe it was a hard personal decision and OM pushed the issue for good reasons but the fallout was not what they expected.

OM is going to get hung out to dry if LK leaves by being late on the coaching search, NIL, recruiting, etc and now they are in panic mode and should be. They have already started an unofficial coaching search.
