Lane Kiffin called that timeout because the players asked him if he wanted to run clock

Listening to his press conference and that was the answer he gave for why he called the timeout and chewed the team out coming out of halftime.
Sounded like the players wanted to get the game over with and Kiffin was pissed that they would even ask him such a question hence the timeout and gathering everyone together. "We decide when the game's over"

"You should make it to where teams don't want to schedule you."
That's what I'm talking about.
That's what I'm talking about.

Lane - “Winnie dropped two easy TDs so we put Barber in”
I feel like BK or Les Miles would’ve never done that regardless of how bad the starter was playing. They didn’t seem to ever believe in replacing starters during a game due to poor play. I love how Kiffin has that Spurrier mindset in that if the starter can’t get the job done, he will sit his arse and find someone who can.

I really love the fact that he treats the depth chart as a fluid guideline. Keeps everyone on their toes.

He wants the team to be known as the famous 900 lb gorilla with a chainsaw for a dick ….. and knows that’s not the attitude needed

Whenever we lost Saban and god Leslie McDipshit, who I have hated since his season opener BTW, I have longed for a coach who ridiculed his starters and put the next man up if they screwed up. I have longed for a Coach who didn’t just take knees and use the Victory formation. His reasoning was basically, hell no you schedule us get us. And for once ever since Saban left, I feel like an actual adult is in charge of this program. Adult might be too harsh, but at least we have a real frickin football coach! I’m loving it!

Exactly, and it was infuriating. I’m enjoying this season so much.
