So some coach out there is going to want to come here and everything is lined up and in agreement. But he’s going to say, “actually no” because of what Landry said?

Yes that is what I am saying and what recruiting services AND Kelly himself said. This was the FIRST year we had the funding to do something like that.
Woody was late.
Our collective prior to that was a mess.
Whereas ole miss was buying guys like Walter nolen because of their well organized well funded NIL efforts.

Sadly. There are people here who do believe that the governor cost us/will cost us top tier candidates lol. I wish people here weren’t THAT dumb, but I shouldn’t be surprised.

It’s common now days for politicians to have a social media team. They monitor the boards, social media. They operate to direct traffic if necessary, attack where needed, get out positive spin or sometimes they present ideas to get feedback.
It’s also common for coaches to have social media team. Coach O did for certain.
With Little lying Landry, I am 100% certain that he has a team and I am fairly confident that they’re prevalent on this site.
Essentially it provides the virtual finger in the wind.

Absolutely, do you honestly believe that there are coaches out there who have a choice of schools, and the best ones out there do have a choice and one of the choices is with a school with a loose cannon governor that he's so obtuse he can't help but say and do things that make the University look like like a laughingstock and another school with the same resources as LSU where you don't have to deal with the what ifs Landry presents.....Heck, go read about Steve Spurriers experiences interviewing for a job here back in the 80's if you don't think it matters.

If any serious candidate wants the job here, they aren’t turning it down because a governor was running his mouth for political points. That’s just not how reality works lol.
