This is gonna be a fun matchup to watch. I’m sure OK is gonna test Stingley here as I can’t imagine them ignoring their Bilitnikov finalist WR. I see a lot of quick slants and come back routes, a few screens, etc. Stingley will be in his hip pocket, but more importantly, when he does make the short catch, Stingley’s gotta wrap up. Gotta limit Lamb’s YAC. He is so dangerous after the catch. In the end I think Stingley limits him and hopefully snags pick #7.

They would be better off moving Lamb around especially if LSU doesn't shadow him wherever he goes with Stingley/Fulton. That way they could isolate him on someone like Vincent who's a huge mismatch.

If they're stupid enough to just go head up and test Stingley...well, they're going to see why LSU has a freshman All-American CB.

Fulton will probably be on Lamb more than Stingley.

I can see Stingley giving up a big play, but also making one or two at the same time. The kid is gonna be a household name in a few years.

Why are you assuming stingley will be matched up with him more than fulton?

I think you’ll see more of Fulton on Lamb

They move Lamb all over the field and get him the ball in space on screen passes, so all DBs will get their chance to cover him.

The matchup to really watch is when Kary Vincent is on Lamb.

Hurts is a good QB, but not nearly as accurate as Burrow. He'll get picked off once or twice trying to feed Lamb the ball in a tight window. He hasn't thrown against our caliber of QB this season, and is used to his guys have great separation.

Lamb is a great receiver. He will get his yards and catches. We have to minimize the yards after catch.

Agreed stingley makes the flashy plays but the best man corner on the team is Fulton

Fulton with Kari or Delpit assisting. Then Stingley man up with number 2 receiver.

We've been tested by Bama with the slant game.

The real key with cee dee is tackling him after the catch. He's going to get open. We have to tackle him quickly after he gets the ball

Probably because teams go at him more versus Fulton.

No one throws on Fulton because he’s stuck on his man so well. Tre White was similar in college and look at him now.

The best CB stats are no stats.
