Before she got REALLY famous, she had a $200,000/year gig to write 6 —yes, SIX— songs per year for a production firm in Nashville. Regardless of quality or chart action, she got the $200k. That was in addition to everything else she was making as a touring artist. She has done VERY well for herself.

Her grandfather used to live just down the road from our family. He had model airplanes, good sized yellow crop dusters for cryin’ out loud, hanging in his living room from the ceiling. Her accent sounds just as it should haha.

No it’s not. I grew up 15 miles from there and nobody talks like that. People have a country accent, but it sounds nothing like the way she talks. It’s embellished, at the least. But it’s mostly just fake.
