Of course, anything they "practice" in these games won't apply to real competition. Saw the same thing last year where they looked unstoppable in preseason but fell on their you knows when they played real competition.

Last year the team was 29-6 and made it to the sweet sixteen in the tournament. The two previous seasons they finished with 30 wins and made it to the regional final (elite eight). The season before that, they finished with 30+ wins and won the NCAA championship. What are you talking about?

Are you suggesting that nine players here would be starters for South Carolina?

with the way that team looked on defense on monday against maryland, i'd say she'd take 7 out of 9!

they are REALLY missing raven. with the kind of defense lsu is playing, we are gonna give tessa, jerzy, and jordan fits. and they looked horrible against the zone defense. its those big girls (rebounding) we'll maybe have issues with.

My complaint was that these games are boring when they are over after halftime if not the first quarter. There are creampuffs and there is pathetic. LSU plays a lot of pathetic teams. I know there are better teams she could schedule that would at least give a better showing, at least for the first half. And how does your team get any better playing these kind of teams?

I am talking about watching boring games. But if you want particulars, how about losing the first two SEC games back to back and losing four altogether? Shouldn't a great team like ours who destroys teams in the preseason be able to win the conference?

Mulkey effectively ran Koval off

Mulkey tried talking Koval into staying, but it was Koval’s decision to leave, and maybe that was a justifiable decision for her because of her family, but in no way did Mulkey run her off. Did Mulkey possibly see Koval leaving as a possible outcome? I think so, but again, that’s different than running her off.

So, losing games in the SEC is not supposed to happen? Also, last season LSU lost to Kentucky and Vanderbilt in the first two games. Before playing LSU, Vandy beat this same TSU team 109-50. Before playing LSU Kentucky beat Morgan State 101-39. By your logic, shouldn't great teams like that be able to win the conference? Additionally, the team that DID win the conference was South Carolina. Before playing LSU they beat Queens College 121-49. So, I'm not quite following your logic here. All the top teams in the SEC beat up on these non power 4 programs. Why is LSU's blowout wins supposed to mean they should win the conference?

Koval plays for Baylor now. They played Texas in an exhibition game and her stat line was 14 points on 6/7 shooting. The only shot she missed was a three. She also had 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocks with zero turnovers. I always liked her, I hope she continues to do well.

I'm talking about maybe finally beating South Carolina and winning conference. Wouldn't that be a great thing?
