Chances are Kim had told them if they make 1 FT and then miss, call TO to advance to half court to set up a game winning attempt, and in heat of the moment a freshman calls timeout even though they missed both. It's not the worst thing ever. Better than a dumb turnover under their basket

I’m so happy for these girls.

But I’ve watched a lot of their games and we just do not have basketball iq.

A timeout after they missed the free throw, wtf? That happens if they make the free throw.
