Lack of effort is troubling

I mean lack of effort on the field and apparent lack of effort in game planning.

The punt return should not have happened even with the block in the back no call. The first play from scrimmage by Kentucky caught the defense flatfooted. The last drive in regulation they looked lost. Multiple timeouts had to be called to avoid delay of game or because the right personnel weren't on the field.

It's a new regime with a lot of new faces so I don't expect everything to run smoothly right out the gate. But I expect the staff to have a coherent gameplan and manage the game correctly. And I expect the team to execute to the best of their ability and give maximum effort.when they're in the game. That's not happening.
