I agree. I follow Tech almost as much as LSU. They're replacing almost the whole offense, their best two pitchers...etc. They've recruited extremely well for their level, but it's going to take a little time to get back to the level they were playing at last year. Their manager is great, but he has his flaws. I don't particularly care for how he managed the pitching staff towards the end of last season. They blew quite a few big leads because of it.

The university actually made right field into a solid spot for students. Hell, that's what I would do. Just bring a rolling ice chest and a fold up chair.

Yep, that's exactly what i used to do.

I know several that call LSU LSpoo. It's quite gay.

This is correct. That's why I don't understand people saying they're going to make a leap this year - they hosted a freaking regional last year, which is already a huge leap. Pitching was a problem for them last year - they just didn't have the dudes.

Good for them. Never had a dislike for them like I do for USL.

You would if you ever spent any time up there. I did. My friends from Shreveport can't stand them. Apparently, they talk a lot of shiet about beating LSU in what ever year they don't play.

You're also correct. They will not be making a leap this year. Possibly next, but this season will experience a lot of growing pains. Their opening schedule is no cakewalk, and CUSA is a pretty damn strong conference for baseball.

It’s 1100 seats and they were bought all up, to help with the Tornado that blew the old one away. One Name James Davison (think that’s right) Billionaire, Junior is something like booster President keeps whole athletic program afloat

Tulane is still just a shell of their former selves.

Was never the same post Katrina, they have only made the tourney 4 times since, and one was in '06.
Just 2 trips in the last 12 years.

well that's kind of cool. Not cool that a dad and son can't just go watch a ball game though. They should leave a section or three..

They have that area behind right field on railroad bed but not sure if that’s general admission or pre-tickets sale. Stadium is perfectly suited for all homes games except for in state LSU, not so much. Tulane plays a three game series there in early season.

Louisiana Tech players were talking shite back around 1992/93 at Alex Box. According to Skips assistant at that time, the bulldogs had a history of saying shite to the fans along the third base bleachers. One relief pitcher named Paul called my cousin a queer and we just looked at him like WTf ? Lol

That’s simply untrue. There’s a contingent that gets brainwashed upon admittance that hates LSU for just being LSU. I will always cheer for them, grew up attending athletic events there, married an alumnus, but I know tons that hate everything LSU.

Not what I’ve heard from other threads. They supposedly have their fair share of die hards who believe people cannot like both LA Tech and LSU. The same exact inferiority complex just on a smaller scale because Ruston is much smaller and much further from BR than Lafayette is.

Personally, I actually like Tech and root for them on the side. I love Ruston and think it’s a nice town and region of the state. As a previous poster said, I’d have no issue sending my kids there compared to murderville USA Red stick. You can be a LA Tech student/alum and still be a die hard tiger fan. Don’t let the pricks get to you.

Tuk fech! CANNOT stand them, there is a majority of the fan base that is Delusional. Do you realize they just fired a Coach Dork Holtz that won 5 bowl games because they would rather play an SEC school and lose 70-35 than win a conference game 20-17, this is the Gods honest truth, I had a true tech fan and booster tell me this.
