Even in little league we see how the ump calls it and keep telling our kids "he's calling them high, swing at those". Otherwise it's shaking a fist at clouds, pointless. Adjust.
That works when the ump makes calls consistently.

Nearly impossible for him to throw a cutter from that arm angle so I seriously doubt it.
? You can throw a cutter from any arm angle. The grip is what makes a cutter cut

Lost some games that would be considered concerning. All of their losses are to worse teams than ours. They’ve probably beaten better teams though.

Helen Keller's seeing-eyed dog could call balls and strike better than this ump.

Where is all the bitching about calls when they have players looking at called third strikes off the plate??
You only have to be consistent is what you guys keep saying.
He has NOT called high strikes all game. Crews swung at 2 high and outside.

Two batters in front of Crews he called out McManus on a titty high fastball

It’s not a cutter. He’s throwing a 2-seam fastball and a slider.
A cutter requires your middle finger to press down on the ball as it comes out of your hand resulting in a clockwise rotation. With his arm slot his middle finger will be on side of the ball which means less clockwise rotation.

Crews pitches were at his freaking shoulder. McManus was below the lettering.

He’s showed a few good changeups

The zone is the zone, however it’s viewed by the ump. The plate it consistent and the umpire is expected to call the zone consistently. I get people make mistakes but the concept isn’t hard to follow.

The called strike three was high a d outside. It wasn’t particularly close. That has nothing to do with Crews swinging at a pitch out of the zone. Regardless, guys swinging at balls doesn’t mean balls should be called strikes when players don’t swing
