I don’t have a problem with this.
Fourcade is the best QB Nicholls has had since Josh Son. And Son was a beast that could do it all.

If they did it by “best players” the team would be like 90-95% LSU guys. It’s a cool way for the smaller school players to get some well-deserved recognition. I have no issue with it

ULM and Tulane have a better QB than Burrow. Yes other state teams can have better QBs than LSU

Burrow is average at best, Just check his statistics in the SEC rankings.

I love Jeuax, he's a very good tough QB, but there's a reason ohio went with haskins, he's a difference making baller.

To be fair, Burrow made a major difference in a couple games this year and carried that team on his shoulders. And this is after only 6 months in the program.
Add to the fact that Ohio St is in the same predicament as LSU. Not playing for the NC this year.

So Burrow is as good as the record breaking Heisman finalist Haskins? You do know Ohio State only lost one game, won the Big 10 Championship and was the last out for the playoffs, right?
LSU has been so terrible in developing QBs that a QB who has a below average season in some of our fans eye is to be compared with a record breaking, one loss Heisman finalist QB, who threw for 47 TDs and only 5 interceptions. And there are many who have said they’d pass on the latter for the former. What the hell are they drinking? I guess Buckeye Jeaux’s mission is accomplished.
I actually believe Burrow will improve and be an above average QB at LSU. But I don’t believe he is better than JT Barrett or Dwaine Haskins, And it’s not even close. Nor would I pass on getting Fields under the impression Burrow is better. I would give Fields the same opportunity that was given to Burrow. Come in and compete and the best QB starts. Yet there are those who don’t want Fields because he quit on his team. But they wanted Burrow who left OSU. Double standard much?
