After the 97 CWS game Skip Bertman had nothing but praise for KP. That is a big reason why KP has great things to say about LSU. He doesn't even come close to hating LSU, some of you see LSU hatred where there isn't any.

That 102 that gray threw the week before must have been on the other gun. One gun is always 3-4 mph faster than the other. I don't understand why they just don't all use the same one.

I'm the poster that catches hell for muting the TV during football season or for anything on ESPN. If I see KP is one of the announcers, I put the volume up and listen.
Yes, ESPN disses LSU's football program quite often. Our baseball program, however, is one of their darlings.

Didn't watch last night, laughing at thread and the only united agreement in the history of the rant.
Not doubting KP's respect of LSU, but reading the responses all I see is people saying how KP loves the Box, food, and fans. Is the OP whining about the players and coaches not getting respect/credit? I think that's his issue.

Dude actually gives LSU a lot of props he even mentioned in the 2009 CWS that LSU ended his run in 97.

I've talked to Peterson several times now over the yrs, at tailgates outside both the Old Box & the New One. He's a genuine person & really enjoys the baseball passion & intensity that LSU baseball fans bring to the college game. Once he leaves the press box, the coat & tie comes off, he rolls up his sleeves, and chows down with more than one beer to wash it all down.
